@@Buzzsprout No, here’s why. I don’t want to double pay for functionality I already get with Descript, such as the transcript. If Descript introduces a summary button at some point, then I would literally be paying $120 per year extra to Buzzsprout, as well as my $180 per year to Descript. It doesn’t make sense.
@@Buzzsprout it was impressive! I already have a format for naming the podcast so it would be great if the Ai used this data to come up with name suggestions but the description was great! Haven’t gone through the show notes yet. Was worried about how well it would work with my Trini accent too but it was pretty good!! $30 is pricey though
Unfortunately, Cohost AI cannot be used on previous episodes. However, if you wish to, you may upload the episodes again with Cohost AI enabled. Simply unpublish the old episodes and set the new ones to an earlier date.
Can you somehow make it where a creator can use Cohost AI but not necessarily use Buzzsprout to host the pod? Please explain how if so. If there's a way to buy that standalone that'd be great.
That's an interesting idea, Arman! We don't have that capability now. If you'd like to move to Buzzsprout you can typically do that in 15-min. If you move your show over to Buzzsprout and try Cohost AI, I'd be happy to credit your account with a $20 thank you!
As of now, you can manually adjust the names in the transcript editor. When you first open the transcript to edit it in Buzzsprout, you will be prompted to add the speaker names for each speaker that Cohost AI detects. Yes, you can use Magic Mastering first to enhance your audio quality. After that, you can put your podcast through Cohost AI for further processing. This sequence should provide optimal results for your podcast. Happy podcasting!
So $20 for AI addon PLUS, $$$ for magic mastering, PLUS normal monthly fee, might as well go to a different service altogether. I've been using Vidyo & Chatgpt to create episode descriptions, titles, outlines and Vidyo to make clips, all these subscriptions add up quick. I hope you come up w/some package deal soon. I really like Buzzsprout but....Has anyone tried this yet?

Better than our old transcription engine, but makes more errors for heavy accents. So it would depend on your accent. Give it a try and if it doesn’t work well enough, just message us at support and we’ll give you a $10 credit.
Hi there! Currently, Buzzsprout's automatic transcription feature mainly supports English. However, manual transcription is also a great option if your podcast isn't in English. It gives you complete control over accuracy and real-time edits. Though this method can be time-consuming, it’s a great option for non-English podcasts. How do you take the chapter markers and put it into the show description as timestamps? I don't understand the point of the chapters and how they work for listeners.

@@Buzzsprout , Well, the priorities seem to be: 1) valuable information; 2) Effective organization; 3) Audio quality; 4) Video quality. All things considered, you did well. For my part, I'm a high-functioning autistic with a somewhat lifeless voice, so I may never get past #3.
@@robbehr8806 You're spot on with the order! The audio sounded good in my editing software, but was way too low when I uploaded it to RU-vid. I actually ran this audio through Magic Mastering to clean it up. :)
@@Buzzsprout , Everything worked out well! Even media giants and TV stations are challenged by RU-vid audio normalization. Before I begin my actual publications, I'm going to do a few tests, just to figure out the differences. I'll use Buzzsprout for all pure audio.
