I really love the idea of secret lair commander decks. As long as the purchase time is open for a while and people know it is coming. I am not interested in this particular product but I hope you guys do more so I can eventually buy one.

I'm curious why you made some changes to the deck from when you have previously played it. Were these changes that you made or were these changes that the secret lair team made?

I LOVE this deck idea. I was planning on making a coin flip deck anyways and don’t have any mana bases or staples because I have only opened packs except for 1 of the afr commander pre-con a so this secret lair seems like it was made for me. I also love the deck idea because I love just goofing off and having fun and playing with aggressive decks and this fits my style to the letter. Thanks a bunch

Love the artwork and the deck concept. Coin toss mechanic is going to be fun and the custom coin is the cherry on top of this set. Now to wait half a year to get it lol

Good morning, Gavin! I’m curious. Do the production issue that prevented you from making a Werewolf precon apply to Secret Lair commander decks, too? I’m asking because you included two-sided cards in the deck. As such, would it be theoretically possible to have a werewolf commander deck be done via Secret Lair in the future?

While I have this deck, very similar in list too, i'm still picking this up for the fancy versions. Love this deck so much. Heck I was the one who asked about them when you did card story streams, i think the second stream? Karplusan Minotaur best card. Also why does the thumb have no legend crown?

Why not run aqueous form over slip through? It's a consistent effect that does the same thing and on hit provides card selection

i love this dec but changing out a few cards! i wanna add aqueous form because its a cheap amazing card! gives unblockable and scry 1 every attack! amazing combos plus i wanna add a dual strike or a copy spell for more turns tbh, also wanna run treasure chest for that slight chance for 20 roll into thumb!!!

Funny story with this Lair My brother got it for my birthday April 26th It arrived just in time for Christmas due to issues with a custom coin the came with.

One card is missing in this deck. One I use a lot and I really love it: FLING!

Figured I’d post of this for clarity. I’ve been waiting a really long time for this secret lair. I don’t understand why other secret lairs I’ve ordered way later after this way after I was charged I’ve received in record time but why is the production on this product specifically is taking so long to produce?

Is Krark's Thumb's new printing an error? It's a legendary permanent, but the borderless version lacks the frame treatment seen on Zndrsplt and Okaun. Is it being reprinted without that crown border? I haven't seen anyone bring this up, so I just wanted to verify. Interesting deck nonetheless!

I have two questions! Were these all cards you yourself run, and why was the Planeswalker stamp omitted, when sets like Mystery Booster and The List have them? EDIT: I now notice that in the article it states they will have them! I was worried for a moment.

Still curious about why this decklist doesn't have Mana Crypt on it, I have heard from multiple sources that Wotc doesn't care about secondary market prices when creating their products...

I think it's an interesting use of the Secret Lair to contain an entire commander deck with some solid reprints. plus it's quite a unique archetype, so that'll make commander tables going forward a bit more chaotic. especially when you have two in the same pod! in some ways it's similar to the challenger decks. but outside of very unique archetypes/commanders, I worry that printing more like this might make people feel that it steps on the toes of their personal decks. that said, I think the unique aspects of the deck, even if it's only ~10 cards difference, are enough to make a deck feel like your own. so I look forward to more like this in the future!

I am very curious. Are there any cards from your personal list that where substituted out for the Secret Lair drop? For instance maybe your original list had Frenetic Efreet in addition to, or rather than Frenetic Sliver?

Curious on the effect of frenetic efferet? I know for a little bit it was thought you could name an arbitrarly large amount of coin flips and and then before the last one revolves flicker it so you can keep all those won flips, and I've been seeing forms say it's been errata to match frenetic sliver where you only get one but I see no rulings for frenetic effret on gatherer

I like the idea of a precon sl, though I wish I could get it completely non-foil. The double-faced thing doesn’t interest me much either.

The lack of a Mana Crypt in this deck is the largest tragedy in recorded history.

A great idea as a secret lair! The two-sided cards would also be an interesting game mechanic for a coin-flip deck, i.e having different cards on each side and they would enter the battlefield either "heads/frontside or tails/backside".

I remember playing this deck at the first scg con. This deck is so cool and I'm actually really tempted to get this secret lair because I didn't realize it's your whole commander deck!!! Edit: awww you changed the list a bit. Still a cool idea for a secret lair, and still tempted to get it.

which 50 cards are foil?

I built my first CEDH deck with these two. I even went infinite on turn 4. Man my whole table was “upset” in the tournament. Man I’m glad this deck is getting popular and I made it before it was a secret layer. Edit: Thank you for making some amazing art for the deck.

Hey, I was wondering what the point of frenetic sliver is? I get that it let's you flip a coin, but only one a turn. I just didn't know if there was a more optimized card to replace it with or no?

I was testing out this deck and got unimaginably lucky and was able to use Chandra's ignition to kill everyone with 844... TRILLION COMMANDER DAMAGE

On the customer support page(checked today November 14 2022) for Secret Lair, it states that this Secret Lair is being prepared for fulfilment. However it was stated that the decks were supposed to start shipping October 24th 2022 in a email. What the hell Gavin

....where are these decks? Has anyone received theirs yet? I have heard that a couple people have gotten theirs over a year late and the printing quality is terrible. Not a good look for Hasbro!!
