Vorinclex Super Jerks Commander Deck - An Awful Deck For Awful Fun Magic The Gathering 

The Instructor would have gone infect (though I did slyly show a few suggestions if you look carefully). This is the NICE version of this deck. Someone in the comments said I could have gone the route of Mono Green Atraxa Super Jerks. YEP. That's the EVIL version.

If we normally call planeswalker decks Superfriends then naturally this is the Legion of Doom

Keep in mind that Vorinclex does not specify "effect" like doubling season, and as a result, will also increase your own planeswalker upticks. Combined with the Ozolith, if you have a creature with 2 counters on it that dies, the Ozolith gets 4 counters, and when you move those counters off of it, the creature gets 8. It is also interesting to note that the doubling effect also works with energy and experience counters too. Edit: Spelling

Doubling Season is a card historically so weak that needs to start in your command zone. Yay!

I gotta admit, I’m 100% new to Magic, and it’s quickly becoming an obsession of mine. Although that being said, it’s very difficult finding a footing in this massive game :/ so many legendary creatures and card abilities that I don’t even understand, but you have made the already daunting task of learning that much easier, and I thank you.

I do like that an opponents Glacial Chasm just laughs at Vorinclex's ability. Makes me so happy.

I am unreasonably excited about Kaldheim. I love Norse mythology and I love Phyrexians from waaay back in my high-school card sets in the invasion cycle. I'm not sure how much to meter my excitement. I hope this is a good set for me to jump back in.

I'm so happy to see Karametra's Acolyte in this deck, it can be brutal if used properly and is highly underrated imo

Omfg, I love how you start showing a list of commanders I bought before the whole covid thing when I was going to make an atraxa plainswalker matters deck. Lots of aoe with destory all CREATURES and such. Now I see a new version of a praetor (my fav tribe, they are so fkn cool and so FUN) and I seem to have a good amount of the cards.

My atraxa superfriends probably doesn’t NEED a second doubling season, BUUUUUUT...

I remember opening a random Kaldheim pack and then seeing this incredible beast, full alt art glory and imagining the cool things I'd do with it. My primary commander at the time was Willowdusk, Essence Seer, a commander based on counters that fit with Vorinclex. He was amazing. Then much later I made a planeswalker deck, not knowing the first turn bullshit you could do with him. I just thought that it would double the counters added from their + abilities. I thought that this couldn't possibly be right, you just can't use a planeswalker's ultimate on its first turn, maybe with Carth the Lion and Chain veil, but not with just one other card and without tons of mana. I was wrong, and now I'm disgusted. I thought he would be somewhat fair, that he would be based off of +1/+1 counters and maybe infect, but not this. Vorinclex is ruined for me, because I loved him but he grew too powerful to be acceptable. My heart is broken. This truly is an asshole deck.

This is the first deck I reeeaalllly want to play. It has everything I love. Planeswalkers, huge hydras, and lots of counters

As a PW player, not having to fear a literal stormcrow chipping at my loyalty would be nice.

If the new Vorinclex works like Doubling Season, then it will only double the quantity of Loyalty Counters that Planeswalkers enter with. Their Activated Abilities being used do not add double, as those Loyalty Counters are considered to be a cost to said Activated Ability.

Just wanna tell you that I love your videos about obnoxious EDH decks. Shouldn’t surprise me that these and similar decks have been commonplace with my group for awhile. You haven’t seen pure chaos until you’ve played against 3 decks that all make you want to tear your hair out, and all for different reasons. Walking away victorious always leaves me feeling.. different. It’s awesome.

I love Wizards R&D so very very much sometimes. As a filthy filthy green player, I always thought it was a particularly unfair nitpick that planeswalker abilities being a cost meant they didn't work with Doubling Season. Now, everything is right in the world again, and I can go back to getting everything I've ever wanted. Thank you Wizard's R&D!!

Can WotC just stop making sets "with Commander in mind". While it was nice at the start when they would dip their toe in with a card here and there that was focussed on Commander, this whole mindset is adding too much, too fast. I've got four Commander decks, and all four are now completely outclassed in the past year. Like... not even upgradable. Why run Atraxa when this monstrosity is running about?

Dont think I should note this but... Effects such as Ozolith's interact with Vorinclex and Doubling Season by doubling the amount of counters you are moving. So keep track of the amount of counters cuz they can go wild before you even realize it.

This also means that your opponent’s planes walkers enter with half their original loyalty counters too (rounded down). 😰

I don't play Commander or own a Commander Deck, but this video makes me want to create this deck even if you said it's a "for jerks" deck. I can start by buying the commander and use all the (good) green cards I have and then improve it over time

This is absolutely nuts!!! I am not sure I have seen a Commander deck that makes walkers so easy to utilize. I am making this deck!!! No questions about it.

I'm so happy to see my favorite card and first card ever in the vid: Primordial Hydra! Got it from Duels of the Planeswalkers Xbox 360 promo back in the day (physical cards redeemed from MTG video games, who would've thought?!)

I lean more toward Elf Tribal for Vorinclex +1/+1, with a couple of the money hydras, like Kalonian. The extra ramp from cards like Numa and Marwyn lets you begin slapping down your coverage spells like Ascetism much earlier, without disrupting your tempo. Saying nothing of the fact that cards like Jorega Warcaller and Haldir, Lorien Lieutenant can provide comparable counters support, while contributing to the mana base. I think Kodama of the *East* Tree is a bit slept on, too.

To go with your land ramp, you need Rampaging Brontodon and Ashaya. Ashaya will essentially combo off with Scute Swarm as well.

The extra upside of being in more colors: if your commander isn't vorinclex the other players probably won't be trying to kill you so early.

Instead of Crowned Ceratok and Tusk guard Captain, might I suggest Generous Stray and Gnarlid Colony? The Stray lets you immediately pop a counter down and the Colony gives you the effect for 2 cmc, you don't even need to worry about kicking it.

He will be a welcome addition to the 99 of my Grothama deck, as I usually tutor or pod into vigor to turn my creatures into.... big numbers

I said I wanted to build this deck. I routinely go up against a group that runs Kozilek edrazi tribal (with commander's plate because of course), Innala boardwipe/recursion, Kalia the Vast, Marchesa The Black Rose focused on stealing - and quite frankly I need a jerk deck to force them all to suffer. I didn't realize a super jerk deck was a thing, but in June I built a 5 color chaos that has made games last around 3-4 hours and it's not too expensive coming out at around 200 dollars.

You missed the part where the wording also means that when YOU uptick loyalty on your planeswalkers, you also get twice as many loyalty counters because of the different wording between this and doubling season.

That actually made my day, they are doing MORE Phyrexia cards ? I did enjoy Vorinclex before, that seens nuts. Be in mind I am heavyly outdated, I really wish they could flash out more Phyrexia goods.

I could easily be wrong, but the wording of Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider is "if you would PUT one of more counters on a permanent or player..." so unlike doubling season, which states "if an EFFECT", It does double the uptick of plansewakers , but does not double their ETB of counters. As that is "this card enters with x of y counters on it." I could very easily be wrong. I hope its not just a 'better' doubling season in the command zone, but we'll have to wait and see what the rulings are on this card.

I'm not a religious man but this new Vorinclex is a godsend for us Hydra players. I've been playing the snakey boiz for years but never found a commander that really fit the bill the way Vorin has. Absolutely phenomenal. Now if only this damn Covid would go away so I could go play!

I feel as though the first minute of this video is my friend’s thought process whenever he makes a deck. Every deck he’s made goes hog wild by turn 3

I think there should be an errata, starting loyalty counters of planeswalkers should not double upon coming to play with Vorinclex in the battlefield. It should just double upon activation.
