"we're going to ignore any quick blips" That's fine in most newer places, but in older it could mean a deep item, some people have found great things with faint signals.

I received the Coinmaster to replace my old Coinmaster DB model, which after years of reliable service final gave up the ghost I'm sorry to say. I 'm really having a difficult time with this new model as I spend more time chasing false signal or inconsistent hits IMO. I'm not what I would consider a "novice" but neither am I an "expert" I just have enjoyed this hobby since I was a teenager (in the 80's) and now I'm just becoming frustrated with what is supposed to be a better model of detector?
