Always remember not to take Time for granted. We all know that we shouldn't take our Loved ones for granted. But Time I think can be taken for granted in a way cause of all the responsibilities as adults we have each day, like going to work, taking care of kids, running errands, and things that need to be done at home, like making sure all the bills and credit cards are paid and up to date, cooking dinner, cleaning/straighting up around the house, doing laundry, and making sure to take care of yourself like taking a shower, catch up on reading or a favorite TV show.. I'm just throwing some examples out there of things we all have to do, not exactly that have to be done every single day..but after doing all that we have to do we get exhausted and want nothing more than to go to sleep. But I think it's important to check in with each other through out the day, a phone call to see how each other's days are going, or even a text message to just say I love you and maybe even add a sexy text to say just about anything😉.. Also, no matter if your exhausted or had a long day to try and carve out some time together, just the two of you, like talking, but if you can to try to keep work or kids out of it.. To make it about just you and him, about if anything is bothering you that you need to let out,to talk about planning something special like a trip, up coming events, whatever you want, and while your talking do it while snuggling up on the couch together with a glass of wine or beer ( totally optional especially if you don't drink). That will relax you both and possibly taking things to the bedroom. Also, trying to plan a date night, one night a week, getting all dolled up, believe me your husband will appreciate it! Then, another thing you can do for each other, possibly if your out running errands, to pick up a card at like CVS, they all have just because cards, or thinking of you cards, if they have Hallmark cards, they have these beautiful section of cards that are for couples, written so beautifully, and to also write a little note or letter inside the fold or on the back to make it even more personal. And always write the date in the corner, I think it's important, because years from now when you take them out and you read them again, the date will recall that day, all the little things count sometimes as much as the bigger things, like an anniversary, only because it wasn't planned or you expected it. And most important never going to bed angry or pissed off especially at each other, take a little time to calm down and let each other talk and listen to why or what.. And to tell each other every morning, afternoon, evening and night that you love each other. Life is short, and I'm sure after being together for 23-24 years that you know already everything I had written in this post. ❤☺ The reason I did write it all out, is maybe if someone else reads this, it may help them. And another reason is because I recently lost my Husband, he passed away suddenly, and I think I did take for granted those last couple weeks he was still here, that's a long story, but I do know He Loved Me so very much, and I know He knew how much I Loved him, and will Always Love Him. Still though not being able to say it one last time and to hear it one last time, it did take its toll on me so hard because I knew he was mad at me in the last few hours before he died. And I wish I could've had more time to say I was sorry, to have one more kiss and to get to say Goodbye to him while he was still alive. I'm still grieving, but I have forgiven myself for why he was mad at me about. I'm okay, I tell Him every single day that I Love Him and how much I Miss Him. I know he can't say it back, but I feel it in my Heart and in my Soul. Be Good to One Another for Always and until Forever. And Thank you for reading and telling your Beautiful story. My mother is dying from cancer and this song kinda reminds me of her^^; Things are going really downhill for me and things are just getting worse and worse. If there is a God, I hope he is there to help my mom. Because of seeing my mom suffer like that and striving for every last moment to live and breathe just for me, I realize how precious every moment and every breathe on this planet is and how grateful I am to have a mother like that. Even though things may get worse, it never hurts to smile^^ Even if its fake. But anyways.. Other than me sounding like an emotional wreck and typing useless comments on RU-vid that don't matter, I like this song and it reminds me of my mom. I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles! I know what you mean, in a way, as my grandma was diagnosed with lung cancer in either November or December I think. There most certainly is a God, I assure you, and I hope you don't give up on that no matter how things go. My faith is the only thing that got me through my grandma being sick. She was indeed like a second mother to me in a way. Sometimes things go one way and sometimes they go another, and I hope and pray for the best for you and your family! I let the love of my life go 13yrs ago. I'm not sure that there was a day that went by that I did not miss her after that. It was the hardest choice I've ever had to make. I'm 42 now. I reached out to her on Facebook and am now sleeping in the same bed, getting ready to hold her. I'm very fortunate we never got married, or had children (almost as if we were meant to be together. Or, that any other circumstances would have changed how I felt for her). But, had I just told her 13yrs ago, my stubborn ass could have saved us from the pain of those 13yrs and maybe we would have much more together. I suppose things happen for a reason though. All that I'm trying to say is just be genuine and tell them how much they mean to you before it is too late. You may not be as lucky as I have been. Just tell them.
