Thanks heaps for the reaction I knew you would be blown away by Cold Chisel. This performance has it all, this has to be one of best live performances of all time. Should check them out when they were younger in 1983 singing “Wild thing”. Another great Australian band you have to react to is INXS “original sin” live at Wembley 1991
Let the rabbit hole of incredible Aussie Artists begins, check, John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes doing when something is wrong with my baby. Matt Corby, Teskey Brothers Hold me live, guy Sebastian lots
Honi great to see you enjoying some Aussie music. If you havent seen it already check out the video of Tina Turner and Jimmy Barnes doing simply the best.. Jimmy said at the time I cant do the choreography like you Tina...she said dont worry I'll make you look good. Tina was very well loved in Australia.
Another great reaction, thanks for enjoyin it with us! I'll say it again, check them out doing "Wild thing" - it is 20 years earlier and they are a bit wilder but just as talented. Best version of that song I have ever heard. Thanks again
Check out Jimmy and Tina Turner Simply The Best. Another Aussie legend John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes When Something Is Wrong With My Baby. Also an older Jimmy Barnes with Joe Bonamassa Stone Cold.
Legends - Another couple of live performances I think you would enjoy - these are both covers - 'A change is gonna come' and 'Wild Thing' - both awesome
Your reactions are nice. If, like me, you think an ‘83 rendition of Wild Thing is a bit too much then I’d suggest you’d like Flame Trees from this same 2003 concert.
Welcome to Ozz Rock, Cold Chisel, Jimmy Barnes , Ian Moss and a whole lot more. You would love Jimmy’s duet with John Farnham ( as big as Jimmy but a better singer ) doing a cover of Sam n Dave’s When Something is Wrong With My Baby....... this is soul heaven. Also his duet with Tina Turner......Simply The Best And Stone Cold with legendary American blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa. Once you hear John Farnham you will want more.......I suggest Help live with the MSO. ( Melbourne Symphony Orchestra ) and Gethsemane from an Aussie production of Jesus Christ Superstar. All these artists are usually better live than on recordings...... but their records are also good, just less living. lol
You shoukd try Paul Kelly. He's a story teller like Bob Dylan or James Taylor or Paul Simon. He has a Christmas song calked How to Make Gravy that will leave you stunned.
Everyone outside Australia associates Cold Chisel with Jimmy Barnes.. Ian Moss was arguably a better singer, and the best guitarist in the country… Don Walker wrote some of their best songs, and played honky tonk piano like a mofo… The rhythm section held it together, but still found time to write songs… Not since Queen, has a band contributed so much together…
@@HoniMama...cold chisel....the only band that can rival AC/DC as an Australian band..[ cold chisel - you got nothing I want ] - [ cold chisel - Saturday night ]...for a starter ..ya goofy m8te from Australia
