I really like the walking streets. Maybe you can name a place or 2 so we can map where ur at. I miss QRO. sadly visa stuff is totally difficult as I ran into some not so friendly officiales who said I had to be 65.

Favorite part was talking about the weather. That is a major selling point for my wife and I. You ought to do a piece on the yearly seasons and what to expect. I have heard other vloggers talk about the low humidity and that it is a little difficult to adjust. Also being at over 6000 feet, I would imagine that the air is thinner and crisp and clean!

1. Queretaro might seem high to you but it's actually very low for the Central Mexico Highalnds. Mexico City is over 7200. 2. Queretaro's air is very dirty. Lots of industrial sources of pollution. 3. The weather is super nice. The only comparable in the US is southern California.
@parker1ray
@parker1ray 2 года назад
@@JamesBlazen You hit it on the head! I have done a great deal of research having come from one of the most polluted Reagans in the US. The young man on Tangerine Travels commented that He had made a mistake moving there because the temperatures were in the 50's and he was freezing! gave me a chuckle having been raised 200 miles from Canada! The weather and the natural beauty are both things that we can't wait to experience!

Hi Alex ! I have a possible idea about maybe making a video about what you need to do to be able to get married in Mexico? My boyfriend has family in Guadalajara and a neighboring city near there so we're considering having a wedding there. We're also from the U.S. We love your videos! Congrats to the upcoming wedding!! Thanks for considering Alex 😊🤗

2 thumbs up for the Charles Schwab mention. For those that are unaware, all ATM fees (worldwide) are refunded back to your account monthly. I also have a Mexican bank checking account (BBVA) that has really helped simplified things for certain transactions in México. Very easy to transfer USD to MXN between banks when the exchange rate is favorable.

Hey you might mention that people should not tell Schwab they are living full time out of the US, as they are Known to close accounts with no notice for this. You can travel as long as you like, and have a 2nd home internationally but you must have a residence in US to hold the debit card. That card is invaluable to us, saves us easily $600 a year in the refundable ATM fees.

I have been coming to Mexico, mainly Acapulco since 1962. I do speak Spanish as a second language. I moved permanently to Queretaro, Mexico on 11-2-2021 at 79 . I moved because of the deadly crimes and the rents, utilities etc. taking almost all of my retirement income. It is safer, beautiful and cleaner here, and $850 per month less expensive. There is not any shortage or limits on food, and I use home delivery, as I did in the USA . I use Amazon-Mexico to order the foods, that i miss from the USA, and are not sold here. Grits, Louisiana hot sauce, Hormel Beef tamales, Libby's Corn Beef hash, Red chili flakes, and Campbell's chicken noodle soup.. Pork is all that I do not eat, and I cook 99% of my food. Argentina's Mercado Libre was a BIG disappointment. They never delivered my packages, and has kept my money as a credit. I gave them an address of a friend, yet no delivery Butterball has the best turkey bacon! The earthquakes were the deal breakers for Acapulco, but I will always love her. Grilled Red Snapper and Pollo Felez are my favorite foods, that I order for take out. My apartment has a fantastic view of all of Queretaro, all utilities and WiFi, maid service, and 100% furnished with everything, and a beloved king size bed, like at home. I am working on my temp retirement visa, since I did get 180 days, but at this age, I do not want to do visa runs, and never know how many days I will get. It is better, if you can to get the temp retirement visa. God bless the world,and please behave. Hands are for helping and not hurting. Put a d before anger, and you get deadly danger. Do not argue! No one can ride your back, unless you bend over. Only the strong survives. Treat everyone, the way you want to be treated. Karma never loses an address, and we will reap what we have sown. DO THE RIGHT THING ALWAYS! No complaints in my Queretaro apartment . I love my apartment, and my new friends, who treat me like their great grand mother. People are so respectful of the elders. I paid to have my apartment emptied, and i gave away my food , kitchen and bath items. I did not sell, because of criminals and fake money. I do speak Spanish as a second language. I am addicted to your videos. A Move to Mexico: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6fg_SiHHCOs.html

There used to be a big event like that in Querétaro but its probably been cancelled due to covid. I dont remember what it was called but when you would go in, they would give you a little passports and you could get them stamped at all the international food stands :)

We are always happy to hear about cool weather. If our plan comes together just right we’ll be living in Queretaro with temp residency. We’ll be 30 minutes north of centro histórico in an area called Puerto de Carroza. Long story, but we’ll be there for a year or two before heading out to slow travel Mexico and beyond. The roof is super cool ! We love your channel !

My apartment has heat AND A/C . I live in Corregidora, and thank you for your videos, GREED is the reason for high prices! I left the USA for Queretaro, Mexico on 11-2-2021, due to too deadly and expensive for this 79 years young senior on a pension. God will fix it, so we better behave or else! Stop buying the overpriced food, rent, utilities, gas, and just MOVE to where you want to live, and is safe and within your budget!. Karma never loses an address, and we better care for the USA first or else....A word to the wise is sufficient. I have always purchased online for home delivery. FYI: Stop killing each other, and tear the brown masks off of others killing you. Thank you for these excellent videos. Sharing is caring. . Stay blessed and safe.I eat grits, hominy, turkey bacon and sausage. I love Supreme frozen beef tamales, and i serve them in Hormel turkey chili with beans. Red beans and rice, Corn Beef hash, mustard greens, spinach, mac and cheese from scratch, Beef thick bologna, can fruits. pancakes, soups, Mazola corn oil, turkey wings and cornbread dressing, tuna, sardines i mustard. Louisiana hot sauce. Chicken bone in breast smoldered in gravy, Rice A Roni, eggs, seasonings, oatmeal, water, Pepsi, etc. Thank you. beef stew, catfish, can red salmon for croquettes. potatoes, flour, rice, instant potatoes and milk, Cheerios. butter,etc. Bruce can sweet potatoes, Sauerkraut, olives, figs, nuts, corn meal, Folgers Instant Coffee. FYI: The tornadoes has just taken many people's preps and their homes. I shop online every six months for Walmart grocery home delivery, and I eat my preps and share with non beggars. Currency collapse is happening worldwide, and it will destroy all of us, but God is in charge forever. Look at Lebanon, Venezuela, USA, etc. etc. We can lose material stuff in seconds, and the bodies, that protects our sou.l Living here is a test from GOD. You are on team God, or team Satan. Your actions speaks louder than words. You will reap what you have sown. Put a d before anger, and you get danger. Evil and heartless cowards kill unarmed people. Karma never loses an address.

I let my landlord automatically deduct. my rent from my debit card. It has worked for over 2 years. You still must be Alert on dishonest demons. Heavily block your doors, and have protection all around your apartment. Security and maids will try to enter your apartment without knocking, and a pushing match with a criminal security. I had my door blocked, but since maid was coming, \i did not have it heavily blocked. Please be alert on family and friends, Hola from Queretaro.
