this is really a good smoke generator design with the internal plate to ensure that smoke moves freely what i am going to do is make a bottom mechanism to remove the ash whilst in operation and have the option to add more chips for long haul smoking
How do you manage moisture which ALWAYS condensate from smoke in the upper chamber portion and falling down is soaking the chips thus at some point the smoker stops working?
Have you done a temperature check with the cold smoker generator inside a closed smoker? If so, did the temperature inside increase, as the air flow from the smoke generator increased and vice versa? If would seem the greater the air flow, the more chips that would burn greater and faster; creating additional smoke as well as heat. I know I have better luck cold smoking if can keep the temperature below 85 degrees. A great design idea for cold smoking.
Just I don't get the smoke out. Works for a few minutes and than ? Finished, nothing happening again. I check it out x times x and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any idea about? Help very appreciate 🙏
Brilliant idea.. Have you tried to run it with the pipes on the bottom (upside down compared to this orientation)? It's the main difference between Bella Smokin It and the Big Daddy smoker. A RU-vidr showed the Bella Smokin it to be more precise. Also, can you provide a part list for ease of replication?
This design is way better than the smoke daddy. I have a smoke daddy and the coiled wire in the middle is a poor design. This design it is impossible to clog up.
