Here's a suggestion: since it's carbureted, before starting the engine, push the gas once, and then turn the key from off to on, and leave on for a few seconds. Shut off, then do this 2 more times. After that, crank the engine. This way, the fuel pump gets fuel into the carburettor. It should start easier; the battery needs replaced, though.....
Je moet de startmotor niet overbelasten en even de gelegenheid geven op adem te komen. Je kan in ieder autohandboek lezen dat men het niet aanraadt. Als je zo lang door moet starten zit er ergens iets fout... Mijn 2cv startte na de winterstalling in drie slagen van de startmotor...
en waarom niet? Bij de 2cv is het namelijk wel zo dat je gewoon door moet starten. Als je dan ophoud kun je het helemaal vergeten, dan doet 'ie echt niets meer.
