I LOVE Cold Steel products! My fist buy was a Trench Hawk and that thing will do ANYTHING you need it to do including saving your life! A Double Agent would fit nicely in my collection!!! The Laredo is a BEAST of a Bowie!!!
Cold Steel’s Bowie knives are my favorite to carry. It would be great if they made more clip point style drop forged knives. Especially the toughness and roughness of the drop forged line... They would be great camp/hike knives
I've owned many CS products over the years. Favorite bar none is the new Recon Scout in 3v. I've owned several TM's, the Natchez, and a few Laredo's. Just bought the RS from Midwest Supply and it is SUPERB in every sense of the word. I might have a custom handle put on it to edc it on the scoot. Another product I carry in my truck on the dash is an old school Shambok. Keep it right up on the dash. I also had one on my bagger fairing but alas that was lifted as in stolen. Last but not least the original version of the Master Hunter. Best hunting knife I've ever owned. stay safe Slava Ukraini!
I've had mine for 15 years. It's been through hell and back and looks pretty beat up. I have hundreds of knives, and that old Bowie knife is still probably my favorite.
That double agent would be a great SD EDC I like that it has the 2 finger rings so it can't be taken out of your hands very easily I dont carry a pistol often anymore so I appreciate good SD tools from cold steel like this. 👍. a friend of mine uses his loredo for camping etc. I dont think there's anything this knife can't do.. good job guys on the content always looking forward to more .. this is I think the ONLY channel I consistently seek out content from lol 😎 also I shared the video 3 times 3 people 🤗
The double agent clip point especially makes a great everyday carry. It has nice thin stock and a super fine edge, and it glides through any material you'll encounter in your daily life...but it also makes a great lightweight defense knife too. Gross motor skills will suffice. Hawkbill is brutal too, but I like the clip in both plain and serrated.
@@Prepper319 I've had my CHL for about 16 years. The first 5-10 years I carried 24/7. I just go through phases every once in while where I won't carry for 5-6 months at a time. Then some other times I'm really consistent. 🤷🏼 If it's not on me it's always with me when I'm out and about. I have a holster mount under my dash area below my steering wheel that u can't see, u half to Kno it's there. But my Glock 19 or my sig p320 is in whenever I'm out.
I love how the double agent has 2 finger holes to make it more secure in your and makes it harder for someone to take it from you. Would make a great SD EDC knife.
Loved Cold Steel for years. I owned lots of products from knives to axes and they have never let me down. Look forward to new products in the future. Thanks Guys
I've had the Laredo for a few years, badass knife. I also have a VoyagerXL serrated Tanto, it's like a combo saw/big folding knife. Don't even get me started on how many other Cold Steel knives I have lol.
I purchased for Christmas Recon Scout 7” Bowie C3V steel absolutely Flawless I Love It!!! The design, balance, and blade shape are Fantastic!!! Keep up the Great Quality Knives at Cold Steel …Lynn 👍👏👏👏🤘
I just bought your cold steel koban tanto all I can say is damn I chopped a stick clean off even a paracord hanging up I’m very impressed with you produce guys keep up great work and content greetings from the uk 🇬🇧 👍🐾🇮🇹🦊
Definitely a Cold Steel blade that I need to add to my collection. Not sure I would carry it every day due to its size, but a knife that will find many uses by me.
I love all of the Cold Steel products especially the Bowie’s. I like how they are designed and function and the materials they are made out of. Those double agents look awesome, if I don’t win one I may have to buy one. It would be so much cooler to brag to everyone I know I won one from you guys directly. Keep up the great work
I love Cold Steel, I alternate between the Peacemaker II, Finn Hawk, Recon 1, and or Crawford 1. I've made Cold Steel my EDC for nearly a decade now. This new Laredo looks like a beast.
I keep seeing folks complaining about the steel used in the budget version. My one question to them would be- have you tried Cold Steels 4034? Or AUS-8? My guess would be no because its fantastic.
I have the Bagwell Bowie, made by Ontario USA. Mine is the "Gambler Model", which seems to be just like this design of The Laredo by Cold Steel! I picked mine up many years ago at a Gun Show here in Florida, on a Sunday afternoon about a half hour from closing time. From my experience at many Gun Shows, the best time to get the best deals is near closing time, on the Show's last day! The Seller gave me a great discount on this knife because he wanted to make a sale before closing and I got it for half his selling price! Cold Steel makes a great product and this Laredo seems to be designed almost exactly like my Gambler!
I practice the kali thrusting triangle with the trainers. The real one must be amazing. Followed Bill Bagwells column for years. Love cold steel. I have shovels and had the finn wolves, gi tanto... Could go on for a while. Never a bowie.
Super excited for the 3v Laredo bowie. Have the Sanmai Natchez but like Lynn said, it's just too heavy and ponderous, the Laredo is the better fighter, I think.
That's really a Bad Too The Bone Blade and for the Tough as Nails Folks 😉 Laredo Bowie is the Baddest Blade being made for combat specific interest. 💯⚔️💯
In the past year I have really fallen in love with Cold Steel knives! I was already into firearms, but my son got into forging. So started listening to him talk about knife making and different steel. Before that I thought a knife was just made with steel didn't know there was any difference. I know that sounds ignorant but that's what I thought. Now after a year-and-a-half almost 2 years I have learned so much about knives the blade types the steel types even the grind types! I currently have the Cold Steel SRK, Mini-tac Neck Bowie and the Cold Steel Trail Boss Axe. My son also has a Cold Steel Professional Throwing Axe. Did I mention my son is a cold steel fan as well! I would love to win that Double Agent. I have that on my wishlist on Cold Steel's website.
This looks awesome. Not a big cold Steel collector but I'm getting this! And if you're reading. More distributors need the Black Bear Classic. I stared but missed my opportunity.
a beautiful knife. I would have bought it long ago if it had a nice brown leather sheath, like the Trailmaster with a stag horn grip. Knives and plastic sheaths just don't mix. I hope you read this and get back to the leather. Thank you
I love everything blady, and spend hours on internet pages looking for the perfect next knife for me. It never ends. Every now and then I come across something wow like this, worth a second look. I don't usually comment to win, seeing that I'm in another country and might not be considered for a giveaway. But great product this!
My absolute favorite is the Voyager Vaquero XL serrated. But I never sharpen it. Is only for self-defense.And I live in Germany. Unfortunately I'm not politically correct Lynn 😅😉🫡
Definately a cool knife but for its size and shape I'm sure it will hold up to most outdoors tasks. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
I liked shared commented and subscribed awhile ago haha that Laredo Bowie is on my list . Which ones deadlier- the Laredo Bowie or the Serrated Marauder?
i would love if you guys could bring back the recon scout at a lower price point, i got into the knife addiction a bit too late and now its impossible to find the more affordable O-1 version
OK, so loads of people love this knife and love the brand CS. But what in normal/everyday life do you use a knife like this for - to make kindling for your camp fire, to slice meat and veg for your campfire dinner, to feather stick, to make some wooden tent pegs or wooden traps for your survival practise, to carve a wooden spoon? Or something else? I'm asking a genuine question here.
Just received a new cold steel knife today as a backup to the one i EDC. Quality Control sucks and for my previous one the warranty is even worse than the new knives I think it's time to start buying American-made buck knives again
