Yeah. The music alone when you use the addon on the workshop amps up the "where the fuck are we" feeling 80x more, making the zombie fights strangely more intense.
Regardless of the soundtrack, you can just download the customized version of the Cold Stream, which is the Lukewarm Stream and it already has the unused theme in it as you play.
Why was this unused it sounds so intense. Like imagine the horde chasing you while the special infected and witch's behind you. That sounds more like a nightmare to me. This just wants to make write about a horror story taking place down by a river
The main instrument sounds like one of our national instruments (Kyrgyzstan) it's called Ooz-Komuz What literally translates to "Mouth-Guitar" and it uses like vibrations and volume of your mouth's insides to make the sound (Don't take out of context)
Also cold stream looks like a forest I never played it but people told me some one sacrifices themselve like l4d1 the sacrifice where Bill sacrificed himself
I think Valve removed it because it did not have a very tense and terrifying feel, because that's how most horde themes go. Still though a very awesome song
@@cyka_blyat1233 well I played cold stream in versus a couple of times and I can say its not bad in versus like the only cold stream map I can call unfair is the 4th map and that’s about it it’s not completely unfair like the roller coaster where infected legit have so many spots that can 1 shot kill you or 1 shot down you with infinite commons spawning Like the first map is pretty dam easy just like the parish first map where the infected is has to be doing as much damage as possible to win Second map has like an insanely easy to beat auto tank spawn like the blinding light in the beginning of the map that spot destroys the tank and you can easily go back there as well also the map has more softlock points and like the common event is longer Third map could of been unfair but the thing is there is near non existent infected spawns on top of the bridge to 1 shot down survives or kill them it’s rare and also ladders are a survivors nightmare in my experience cuz it gives infected an OP advantage to do a ton of damage and it shoved a ladder in the beginning of the map also this map shoves in 2 common events where half of the map shoved in commons 4th map is where I can agree with you that it sucks on versus like it has 2 automatic tank spawns and almost the entire map is just shoving in commons Like the infected in this map are just way to OP like survivors can’t take like different paths like in versus your forced to go 1 way and unlike the second cold stream map this map has OP automatic tank spawns you have way less room to dodge infected has OP spawns now and if all survivors are boomed in the first automatic tank spawn in this map there dead cuz they given the tank a way better physics object to one shot down or kill survivors that is more accurate and can go further than the rock as in they given you a massive log and once you beat that it gives you a narrow area that just drains your health supplies and the second automatic tank spawn is near unbeatable and if it knows what it’s doing the tank can camp on top of the helicopter completely destroying the survivors Like the 4th map is 100% not designed for versus it’s basically the parish bridge but worse cuz at least with the parish bridge you can go up and take different path ways cold stream 4th map straight gives survivors no mercy at all Like the only map I can call bad for versus or even campaign is cold stream 4th map cuz it’s way to dam difficult or RNG based But the other 3 maps I don’t really have a problem with in versus
