Chris wrote this on a weekend, in one sitting. Unbelievable.

The full story of the recording of this song is the band had left for the weekend. Chris came back over the weekend with this new song and recorded it live with piano and vocal. He played it for the first time for the band and they used his original take for the album. Yes, please do more Coldplay reactions. If you like piano, do Trouble and of course Clocks, which I am sure you have heard. There are some epic live versions. Sydney tour 2003 is the closest live version to the album but there are epic newer live versions like Madrid 2011 that are more bombastic. I can’t get enough of Coldplay. Great relation.
