Here I am just watching and enjoying your reviews as usual and suddenly "GalacticAttoeney uses genuine praise" and it was super effective. Thanks man this was a dream fight for me back in the day and I could say I was part of the crowd that wanted this fight for a long time. So I sort of... well DID go off script like a lot of times to get all the moves I could into the fight. The Homing attack, the Air Dash back at Cole, the Ice launch, the bare hug and jump into the sky (Which was a reference to Thor vs Kratos from God Of War Ragnarok), and a few other moments were me just trying to sell this fight. I was even happier to see animators expand and improve other scenes themselves. I can see how the analysis makes it seem like they didn't take this very seriously. But believe me, we at the office had fun and respected the peoples choice in wanting episode. And if you don't believe that, know I damn well did.

One thing I would've personally loved to see, knowing what they were going for with writing a "2013 script", was them going back to the old grungy Death Battle aesthetic with the brick wall background and old intro music for this episode alone. I think if they had a quick intro scene of them acknowledging this being an old matchup, even keeping the "Look what I found in the trash for this very matchup!" bit, saying something along the lines of "Well, I guess we're going old school for this one", then going into the normal Death Battle episode strucure with the retro look, it would've gone a long way towards softening the blow of feeling like they were making fun of a decade-old match-up that people actively voted for knowing this is the only way this matchup would happen. It wouldn't do anything to make the actual script better, but it would help make this battle stand out a bit more and feel special

BILL CIPHER VS DISCORD IS THE KING OF PEAK FICTION. And COLE VS ALEX IS THE PRINCE OF PEAK FICTION. If Frieza vs Megatron becomes PEAK FICTION, that will be hilariously awesome. If Megatron gets Family Guy and Fortnite scaling, Frieza is getting served COLD!

DO NOT LET YOUR OPINION ON WHO WON EFFECT YOUR ENJOYMENT One of my favourite death battles ever made the analysis for cole was actually really funny and as a sonic fan the shdow joke caught me of guard then theres alexs analysis which was done beautifully i can not believe how well they fit two games in there and i love how they compared it with spidermans with great power comes great responsibility i just really loved it then THE FIGHT also lets end this debate hit hard i absolutely loved it ok so let me just say THE WORLD WAS REBUILD PERFECTLY i have no problems this is the best arena theyve probably ever made for anyfight i love the opening of them just joking around then my favourite shot happens cole grinding on alexs tenticale attack was the coolest shi ive seen in a while the vas also did a great job both just hit them chills the animations phenomenal just amazing like yeah theres some jank but there will always be so i have no problems with them the effects were just perfectly done for both and i really like the ending it actually kind of got me also the fact theres 3 arenas they fight in really makes it not feel stationary just absolutely loved this one 10/10 HOW DID I FORGET THE SONGS AMAZING also R U B B L E

The fight was good but I didn’t feel much maybe because Bill vs Discord was so good that Alex vs Cole just doesn’t compare I still enjoyed the fight

One of the developers for prototype said that one of the main inspirations for making the game was The Thing.

This matchup was long overdue to happen and has been continually requested for far longer. It deserved to win the poll. Good review, keep it up.

I don't like Cole vs Alex as much as many people, especially that I don't care about the MU and BILLCORD being the latest one and having near-impossible task to follow up. It's 8/10 though and one of the better fights of the season.

I am such a big fan of infamous and while I’ve never played prototype I’m glad both communities get some form of new content this year or we’ll last year but still recent Plus let’s be real here these two series would 100% work as a crossover one’s a hero and one’s a villain
