*Ooops, I refreshed the screen and I guess that deleted the LIVE chat?! ... Anyway Cole is doing great, while we can't say for sure he's "Cancer Free" - this would require sedation to take nasal tissue samples to test and we don't want to do that right now, our oncologist is happy with his progress and we're monitoring him... we thought it was important to have a good long rest after 6 months of vets and chemo/radiation! - we're optimistic that he'll be around for a very long time, thanks again fur all the support!

It's because Cole is someone we know and he's a great cat, a great person. How can you and I and everyone else NOT get emotionally invested? Plus, you have a big heart and are a loving and caring person.

The emotion of cats is the most sincere and does not involve any other interest-related emotion. Now the emotion like that is difficult to be realized between humans but it is realized in cats.

@@cocolime6496 So true. Hard to think how many pets aren't going to make it because they can't get care for whatever reason. Vet costs are very expensive and we need to lower the prices and bring more people to the vets because then it would be affordable

i rescued a cat with FeLV and he was the sweetest thing ever, it was heartbreaking that he had such a hard time finding a home. Lil guy passed away a few months ago. Please give your boy some chin scritches and pets since Rocky's no longer around to get them.

Hang in there Sheldon! I had three of them who all had FELV AND FIV. Two are now passed away but I still have one fighting the good fight! You may want to ask your veterinarian about something called IMMUNOREGULIN. It helps cats with Felv by boosting their immune system. I truly believe it has giving all three of my cats a better quality of life while I had them. At the moment my third cat is doing excellent thank the good Lord 🙏

Did the cancer come back stronger after this and that is part of the cause of his passing? I am so sorry for not being aware-I wasn’t sure if Cole passed or if he had some complications and needed to be made to rest. Glorious cat that brought so much happiness to everyone who knew of him! That's likely what happened. With cancer, you tend to get that one speck of hope that the cancer was beaten, only for that cancer to just come back and finish the patient off. It's the worst part of the disease in my opinion.

Unfortunately, cancer is very tough to truly beat in cats. They are prone to a variety of them, and it often won't show up until it is too late. All we can do is the best we can do, and all too often our best isn't good enough. 😥

@@MrJest2 Sadly, I knew Cole wasn't going to have much longer once he had cancer. I haven't seen an animal survive a cancer diagnosis for more than a few months after. Zeus the Husky only lived for about two after a tumor was found in his gut.

@@graphitetailgrace3870 hey ! just to go some of ur hopes up, some cats thrive after surviving cancer, take marm as an example. as for humans, theres me, a cancer survivor. not everyone dies from cancer. even ppl/animals who relapse, it is still very likely they can survive, depending on the cancer type

Cole is really amazing, maybe because of his "big bro" role I thought he was a bit of a grumpy loving cat, like "I love you guys but I want to sleep go away" but he is actually quite playful and silly 😆 So good to see him doing well 🥰 Also, I bought his plushie, I love it soooooooo much ! October 12, 2021 - I'm sorry you lost Cole. I will always remember him in this vid, and his gentle purrs at the end. He had a great life. I hope Marmalade can get over his loss. When we had a cat depart, his soulmate cat, pined for 6 or 7 weeks. That was the hardest part for us. Losing the 9-lifetimes of friendship with Leoberry.
