I have this exact furnace (2 years old), the symptoms were exactly the same as your video showed. I followed your process and guess what……a spider web in exactly the same place!! Just finished cleaning the main orifice and works like new. I’m retired with no extra $$ for service calls, so THANK YOU!!!!
Man, I got to thank you cuz if I wouldn't have came across this video, I was about to call a technician. I was having the same issue and couldn't figure it out. But I did what u just did and now it's blowing hot. Thank u again for this video.
That sure was a terrible looking gas pipe/line situation. who the hell thought of that lol. Man that screw breaking would have pissed me off man. Gotta love when someone before you rheems the hell out of a screw.
Thanks for all your videos, they've been very helpful so far. I was hoping you could guide me in the right direction. I have this exact model of a furnace. The issue is that it will start up normal but after a few minutes gives me an ignition fail I've replaced the igniter, flame sensor and limit switch. But continue to get same problem. Originally it would work 80% of the time but every so often would give ignition fail reading. But now I can get it to work at all. I see it ignite go to blue flame but after a few minutes the fire stops and I'm just left with the fan pushing out cold air. The machine keeps giving me the one flash - ignition fail...
I have the same furnace and just installed it but haven't attached the roof jack because I see a circular plate inside the furnace exhaust housing is that supposed To be removed or is that a fire shield?
Great video. I am a HVAC guy in Canada and we have no spider issues but I have heard that is for real in parts of the US. Why on earth do spiders find orifices attractive and how do they crawl all the way in there. Do they nest in other parts of the house and cause similar problems?
No, I’ve only found them in the gas valve area. They come down through the flue pipe in the summer and lay eggs inside. I’ve had times where I’ve opened it up and a bunch of little baby spiders came out. Wish I would’ve got that on video that’s the only place I find them.
@@Victoryhomeservices209 Down thru the flue pipe I would have never thought of that. I get lots of small sparrow birds doing that and ending up in ventor fans and the intake of the occasional high efficiency furnace nesting.
I'm getting ignition failure code. Put new ignitor and flame sensor. Now the flame comes on I thought I was good. But the flame won't stay on. Please help
Gas check leak at end 👍. If you had tried to remove the broke screw could had gotten worst ,maybe a 1/4 20 nut would have fit . Watched a few of your videos must me a local park maintenance man.

I'm glad I found your video because the last person that I had come fix my furnace was just because of a spider like it was again and that guy charged me 100 just for that
