Thank you so much, for real. I paid for advice through a handyman app, pretty sure it was just a bot. Sent me on the wrong path of fixing more than once. Watched your video, for sure was the problem I was having, so thanks you really saved my ass in the cold. So from the bottom of this Wisco heart, bless you and yours.
Thanks for posting these, guy. I have a Coleman MH furnace and see most of those downflow models are quite similar. You give me confidence to do things on my own when I can.
Thanks for the video! I do PM and repairs on this and the pilot version here in NW Washington. Mine are LP gas, so spiders rarely make it into the smaller orifice, plus frequent use burns the little boogers up. Running LP, hot spots sometimes develop, so I check chambers every service call.
Exactly what mine is doing and had several furnace guys look at it and said that's as good as it's going to get. I questioned the orifice and they looked at me like I was an idiot and said "well it obviously has a flame" ... I would bet this is my problem.
I have this same furnace. I call for heat the inducer motor comes on. And then the gas valve comes on and I have a flame. But flame goes out in 10 to 30 seconds before the blower motor even comes on. Any idea what’s going on?
That could be your igniter sensor is no good. Check to see on the circuitboard if you have one if the yellow light is solid or blinking also could be bad gas valve.
Would this cause a short cycle?(mgha-077aafc-02) I just rented this mobile home, after hours of trying to get the pilot lit the furnace turns on them off shortly right after , then turns on again and repeats ..
No sounds like it’s over heating check for blockage in filters floor vents indoor coil if you have ac blower could not be running correctly if that doesn’t help could be something else like limits or gas valve hope this helps please subscribe if you haven’t already thanks 👍
Someone in my company found one of these and said bad gas valve. They sent me to change it out and still same problem. Clean out webs problem solved 😂😂
Could be possible bad transformer or fuse on the circuit board also could be the upper limit switch that tripped try that first 👍thanks for watching 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤜🤜
