A masterpiece of this blind Composer based on the very ancient "lumen Christi" of catholic liturgy for the night of Easter played on a magnificent organ
Ayer fue interpretada por la organista donostiarra,Loreto Fernández Imaz, en la iglesia de Santa María de Oyón durante el XXXII Festival de Órgano de Álava,España.
I don't think this is Lincoln: those are definitely tierce mixtures (i.e. sounding the seventeenth, nineteenth and twenty-second), whereas at Lincoln the seventeenth ranks have been replaced with twelfths. I reckon this is Walsh's recording from Salisbury.
I have studied this piece a lot and more often during my life. This piece offers a lót of choices, which have a great impact on how this piece comes and stays coherent. In this video I don't like the changing paces between the different 'incantations'. There is no reason to change tehem - unless some pieces are too difficult...... the final con fuoco part was nice, and the ending had a nice and fitting ritenuto.
