Hi, Unit of collagen is Troopcollagen. It is consisted of coiling to the right of three helices alpha 1 and two chains of alpha 2 who took a left turn. Alpha 1 and two don’t have a relation to the alpha hélice in the sense of secondary protein structure. Or may be I need to update my info?!
