There are four basic ways to collect age data when you’re doing an assessment or survey:
1. Have someone select the age category they fall into.
2. Ask someone their age, and select that age directly.
3. Ask someone the year they were born, and then calculate their age.
4. Ask someone their exact birthday, including the day, month, and year.
In this video, I’ll show you how to create a survey question using XLSForm, collecting each of these types of age data.
