Alfredo's collection was sweet it felt like 1985 I was 10 and stepping into the toy store to buy a new toy I been watching these from the begining and I got to say this is most definitely in my top 10 displays awesome job Alfredo
Malachi and Alfredo, both of you absolutely won this episode! Malachi - This is absolutely thee best G1 display that I've seen in a long time! This one took me back to 85-86 era from the pieces to the furniture! I definitely get what you were doing there! Outstanding job! Alfredo - When I saw that FHS display, I immediately looked at my wallet and said "I need this guys number". What an incredible retro display you have my friend! Not one complaint about your setup from me! I do have a suggestion tho, invest in blackout blinds for that room. That sunlight coming into the room can ruin all that gorgeousness over time. Definitely consider that. Otherwise, another outstanding collection display!
The patreon version of this episode was so good. I did not want the conversation before the critique to end. When The dummies talk about content consumption and how it makes us feel is so relatable and a conversation. Many of us are having our own homes.
Tht last 1 was love! Nailed the display 2. Its more important than any museum w/ tf's. Figs are common relative to his shit. He has stuff tht couldn't be replaced if a disaster happened
1st N-Put - It looks more like a place for your stuff rather then stuff for your place. Take it all down. Get some out of sight storage for what doesn't fit. Then fill each space one at a time. 2nd Malachi - Not an impossible space. Lift it up off the ground. Light it up. Maybe add some back drops so the wood isn't overwhelming ((even solid colors.)) And fill the empty spaces. Maybe paint that wall grey or tan. 3rd Rowdy - Block out that window. Maybe cover it with some art. Floating black shelfs on either side. Put figures on the shelves. Books or comics on those things you got down below. Store the boxes in a plastic bin in the garage out of sight. 4th Alfredo - Honestly not much to add. Honestly love the nicheness of this. Lightning and maybe a splash of paint on the wall to contrast stuff more. Maybe either black shelves or a white detolf so they match a bit better.
Rowdy.... That's horrible! Take it all down and rethink the entire collection. Those boxes and box inlays don't work as backdrops! Put everything into plastic tubs, continue collecting, and once you have a better place and better shelves... Then try displaying your items! Alfredo... Now that's a jump back in time! Well done!
If Alfredo is out there, is that the original art for an unused cover to the Blackthorne Transformers 3-D #1?? It looks to be done by the interior artist (Tim Tobolski and Bob Versandi ?)
Good eye! It’s the unused cover for issue #1 of the short lived Blackthorne comic series. As you may have noticed, this production cover features characters styled closer to the animation models rather than toy line which was ultimately chosen by the publisher.
My collection is large but it is a jumbled mix with some cohesion. You guys would have a field day critiquing it haha. It's 99% vintage with lots of rare stuff but it's not displayed as well as it should be.
