for those who haven’t watched one of adams most recent videos, because of colleens fans he had to go to the police. her fans were saying they were going to find and kill him, leaking his address etc. he had to go to the police for his safety but for the police to understand the situation he had to explain what had happened with colleen. therefore he was forced to report colleen to the police.

A lot of mainstream media outleys here in the UK are reporting on this. I’m honestly so incredibly happy that the UK is picking up on this story

My biggest concern (beyond some gross things shes doing) is making a creepy or molester uncle seem normal to children... making it harder for people to know when people are being inappropriate with their children. Her glorifying and making jokes about being touched or in inappropriate situations with a family member is just going to make these children think its not a bad thing. Thats so scary!

This last week of her not daily vlogging because she is in hiding has been the longest period of time in her children's lives that they have not been exploited online by her.😳

I used to be Colleen's fan. I looked up to her and admired her. When her apology video first came out, I thought it was brave of her to admit her mistakes and take accountability. Now recently I've watched Adam's videos and seen all the evidence, I can't believe how blind I've been. Rewatching her apology video now, she just seemed super defensive and tried to excuse her actions instead of acknowledging what she did was wrong. It's scary because she's portrayed herself to be a nice caring person, when she's actually a horrible, manipulative child predator.

I just don’t understand trying to have any sort of relationship with a child. I’m very involved in the music scene here and I don’t mind saying hi and having conversations with the 20 somethings AT the show but outside of that environment, I politely decline invites to hang out because as a 30 something year old lady, the age difference is very noticeable. I don’t have much in common with them other than we like the same music. So if I feel that way about people in their 20s, no idea how you can’t feel that way about a literal CHILD. 🥴

She needs to apologize , take a complete step away (retire) and throw herself into therapy for at least a year, and see where that process takes her in life. It will definitely change the way RU-vid does business with child content creators. But then again, they have let Trisha run amuck on the platform because she’s famous and has done porn. It’s just wild. Kids follow them and become addicted to just constant drama and outlandish behavior, and believe they get a pass because they saw their favorite influencer do it.

I don't know if he is a person with special needs in addition to his hearing loss, but it made me think about their also strange upbringing under their parents beliefs...sounds like their childhood was really stunted in terms of social relations. i am not excusing their behaviour at all, as it is really awful, but i would love to know what was happening in their household that caused them to be so problematic.

What I can’t wrap my head around is how Erik has his place in all this.. He just seems to be so normal and loving and honest. It’s hard to put the picture together with Colleen too (I never ever liked Miranda tho or understand how people can find something that primitive and inapropriate funny) but through her daily vlogs that I watched in the past 3 years and podcasts etc. it’s just hard to imagine how someone can show a different picture on a daily basis. Her kids seem to be very happy and loved and normal, and I always thought that Colleen was a really really good mom and looked at her parenting as an example for the future.. (I am also very much against child exploitation and general showing children online, I wrote a paper on it at the university 2 years ago, but somehow Colleen was the exception for me which I feel very dumm for.) I always thought that she is just pretty dumm, and doesn’t think about stuff like this at all. I believe Adam 1000% and watched basically hours and hours of videos in the topic the past few days and I am on his side no question, it is just such a hard process to imagine a person that you think you know, because again she shows her life every single day hecticly (which is a problem I know) to be someone else. Jojo was definitely exploited, FOR SURE. Her mom was the ring leader with all of this stuff. Her mom is the creepiest woman I have ever seen. I am I former fan of 6 years, yes 6. My experience in the fandom was toxic, I ran a fanpage where I edited photos of her bows and posted photos of her. I never received any attention from her or anything, but I did know a lot of ppl who did. They were this group of moms and they even had a Facebook account for "parents of Jojo fans", a lot of parents would exploit their own children to the fandom to become "groupies". The moms were rude and would use the ig page of their daughters and pretend that the kids were messaging us but it was thr parents. They would travel and follow Jojo on tour, and went to see her when she was on a special for the last season of Dance Moms. I remember once when Jess (jojo's mom) was in this girls dms and she gave her house adress to the girl, but she ended up leaking it, and that sent Jess on a fan account delete spree as "payback". One of the moms during the election, asked KIDS who our parents had voted for and then shamed us if our parents voted for Trump. I left the fandom because it just got way too toxic and wasn't fun anymore. I was there from the beginning, before Nickelodeon, when her bows had just launched in Justice stores. Back then it was happy, fun and new, I made friends through this experience and felt comfortable and confident in my skin, like I found where I belong. My younger sister and I used to get ready in all our Jojo Siwa merch, and I used to do her hair EVERYDAY In the iconic side ponytail, and would get a lot of compliments from other fans out in public and it mad me feel like I so cool. Jojo was a big part of my teenage years and I still have all my merch saved in a box in my basement lol. All the fun died when the mom groups started to form and grow, and just going to target to see the new display of bows started to feel like a competition, and I was competing with adults. Moms also got tattoos of Jojo's character icons that she would put on her merch (like the unicorn and her dog bowbow) which i always thought was creepy, and Jojo's mom would applaud this type of behavior 24/7. I spoke to one of the moms once (when I was about 16 ) in the fandom and she had the attitude of too good for us and would often brag about her daughter receiving special treatment from Jess, they were like friends. Once the moms daughter was invited in Jojo's car after an event.

Hi Josh, I was introduced to the Miranda Sings channel in 2014 when I was around 14 / 15. I was definitely a “super fan” and would buy the merch, wait anxiously for uploads and even went to one of her shows. She seemed super nice and genuinely cared about her fans and as the years went by I grew out of the Miranda sings “humour” and began watching colleen as an individual and eventually a mother. It always rubbed me the wrong way that she would film her oldest so I stopped watching. I’ve been watching your channel for around 9 months and am so glad that you have brought her channel to light. It’s a bitter sweet feeling seeing a creator you once adored going downhill, but when it’s due to her exploiting her children and shady past coming to light, I cannot agree more with everything you are saying.

I could not imagine showing anyone nonetheless the world and a 16 year old girl the birth of my child. It is such an intimate amazing moment that the only people I wanted to see was my husband, best friend and my mom that is it those were the only people that need to see that and experience that with you.

For context in case anyone cares or wants to know certain things about JoJo Siwa: She's been homeschooled basically her whole life not just when she became famous, her mom basically trained her from age 2 (she started bleaching her hair blonde at 2) to be a star. It's pretty much documented in a show called Abby's ultimate dance competition which is where Jojo first appeared on tv and then transferred to dance moms. We can blame Jojo now bc she's an adult but her mom (and her team) are the ones responsible for the way she is. Just look up some of the things her mom has said and done in the name of fame or camera time to make sure her child was famous. Im literally the same age as jojo basically and i cant imagine that

If nothing else comes of this, at the very least she owes Adam a fat check, it was heartbreaking watching him go through years of his ideas of which he handed to her for free just to remain (important) to her, seeing him realize the manipulation in real time, was just so sad 😢 I wish he wasn't so hard on himself over it, he was a child, I have no doubt she's still manipulating fans, probably having them slaving overtime to come up with her next (apology) video. I always thought it was creepy that Jojo Siwa dressed like a little kid, but everyone would always be like 'she should be able to wear what she wants without judgement.
