Josh, I was raised in the 70s and 80s. I was spanked but I do not remember every time I was spanked. I do remember learning to walk on eggshells because, eventually the spankings on my behind became slaps across the face. I also remember wanting to drown myself in a swimming pool at 9 or 10 years old. I also remember internalizing all the names my parents called me such as stupid, little fool, and obesity. Although, it’s been over forty years since all this abuse started, I still hear those names in my head pretty much everyday. I always try to be kind and generous to others to make myself feel worthy. News flash, I never do feel like I’m a worthwhile person. That’s why I never support parents who use corporal punishment.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but Matt and Abby stopped posting their baby's face. BUT Matt still posted a video where he is giving the baby a bath. How does this make things better???? I don't understand how they think this is okay.

I don’t even follow the Labrant’s, but of course their reels come up over the years. In recent years I’ve really gotten the vibe that Savannah could take it or leave it, she’s definitely not the driving force. She’s genuinely really pretty & could have had a platform on her own, sharing things like hair, makeup, etc. whatever, rather than making their kids the stars of the show.

He’s 26??? I remember being 26 and now being two months shy of 30 it amazes me how much I’ve grown in the last four years. He and Savannah both (honestly all of them 🙄) seem emotionally stunted at 20ish. Four kids for a couple of people like this is not going to be good when their shit hits the fan.

I am glad to see this covered. I have such a strong dislike for the Labrant family parents. I feel such sympathy for their children and the damage their parents are causing them later. They say they are real....no they like to show off their home, their furniture they just bought, what they give their kids. That is not the real world of people with any depth to them., To be worried about people saying the kids always have popsicles and if they are sugar free just shows how shallow they truly are. They need to worry about what they are doing to the kids

Cole and Sav are disgusting! Ever since poor Tommy died Cole is posting video after video of “My daughter and I” referring to Everleigh! I also thought it was disgusting of them to take Everleigh from California and move her to Tennessee right after she loses her Dad. Strips her from everything she knew.

I completely agree that teens and early 20s should work a customer service job or a job where they need to learn the value of their money…and how to manage it. It’s character building.

You're spot on about working as a teenager/young adult. I learned so many life lessons from my first job. It inspired my love for small business and the reason why I got a business degree.

When i saw them come out with this episode i just knew that you would make a video out of it been waiting for this one!

I think Tommy was on the fence of telling his story and he knew he should have tried to protect his daughter but was scared of the backlash from stans.. I hope his story is told one day

the whole things about kids wanting a normal childhood is so true. there are core development stages that rely on having a support system, something that childhood actors were robbed of when forced to work and having parents who just want the easy money. also people hated on jaden smith for loving being on a school bus.."mocking poor people." she was enjoying it because it was a normal childhood she clearly really wanted to be a part of!!

39:58- So basically he just said that he doesn’t pay them based on anything. He keeps all the money together under the guise of “everything I have is theirs”. That’s so unhealthy and teaches poor boundaries. He says the kids have their own bank accounts, I don’t believe he pays them out as he should. That would conflict with everything else he said in the same breath. Like he said- he doesn’t wanna pay them out any amount of money while they’re young. It sounds like him justifying to himself. Because why would you even say that? Why wouldn’t you just add money they rightfully earned to their banks accounts and give them that at 18 or 21. Yeah, I don’t buy his crock of shit.

It ran away or they had to get rid of it for some reason. That vlog was cruel! They both claim to be so God fearing and religious. If that was true they would do cruel thing to their children.
