honestly, i think that colleen's wedding is the sweetest, most perfect wedding i have ever seen. her whole family is so funny and kind and perfect and i want my wedding to be exactly like this. i always thought i would like a big, fancy wedding, but now i think a simple one with just close friends and family would be so much more meaningful. and did i mention that colleen and erik are so cute together??!! 😍😍❤❤

my relationship fell apart 2 weeks before my proposal that was planned for March. together for 4 years. we were each others best friends. ive watched colleen for years and going through such heartbreak.... i think of her and see how everything works out for the best in the end. her first marriage, they weren't meant to be no matter how badly they tried. I think of her journey, from love to shattering heartbreak now to completely fulfilled happiness with a loving husband and a beautiful son. I got married under the arch between the living room and dining room of my parents’ house. I was five months pregnant. We were engaged already and planning a wedding before I found out I was pregnant. We had a small family wedding and it was so special. Some of the pictures and memories make me laugh while the others are so sentimental. For all the non-traditional and traditional brides and grooms, hurray! It’s all about the love!

I got married in my Dad’s backyard. There were only like 10 people there. It was perfect.

I got Married in the back yard of my husband’s childhood home and it was the most magical feeling really the joining of our souls and a bond of our love . I was also pregnant a lil over 7 month pregnant and it was so special and you really don’t need a big huge expensive stressful wedding. It’s all about the love baby ❤️👑🦋

My husband and I got married last weekend (April 25) in the middle of all of this crazy, in our backyard. We had only our parents and siblings there, and then all of our friends drove by our front yard to say hi to us. Beautiful, intimate, and so much fun! 💕 Just as incredible as any other wedding.

Okay this actually made me feel so much better. My wedding is supposed to be August 1st this year and we are unsure if we are going to be able to actually have our big celebration, which really wont be that big anyways, and may just end up having to get married at the courthouse or just have something very small with our immediate families and postpone our big celebration until maybe next year. Seeing this made me feel better that it isnt about the celebration and yeah having to replan that whole thing would be stressful but we will still be able to be married and that is what matters not the big celebration. We can do that later. So this really helped me. Thank you.

I got married in a pavilion by a beach that I rented for $30 wearing a white sundress I bought on a clearance rack. My hair was done for free by a friend. My invitations were a gift from my cousin who does graphic design. My photos and guest book (a wooden sign everyone signed) were gifts from my uncle. The food was a bbq and a gift from another uncle and aunt. The most expensive things were the flowers and I paid for a hotel for my pastor friend to come from far away so he could officiate. It was super chill there was no head tables or dancing. I sat with friends and ate a veggie burger. So many people told me that it was the best wedding they had been too and they really enjoyed themselves.

That was such a perfect wedding! So authentic! 🤍 I love how it turned out for you!
