college decision reaction 2020 (harvard, yale, brown, williams, georgetown + more!!) 

i had a 4.0 unweighted, 1580 SAT and 36 ACT, 9 AP Tests (8 fives and 1 four); 41 on IB diploma, my subject tests were all 750+, and i did a lot of speech/debate and some volunteering/social justice ecs :)

@@IrisPeng can you talk more about your extracurricular and the type of AP classes you took ?

@@parrisjackson6215 i did speech and debate, interned at a legal aid organization, volunteered at the foodbank, did stuff for the ACLU, had a few writing awards, did junior state of america (JSA), and some other things. for AP, the 9 AP tests I mentioned were from freshman-junior year but I also took 3 APs my senior year. - freshman year: ap chinese and world history - sophomore year: physics 1, lang, and APUSH - junior year: calc AB, literature, biology, and government - senior year: macroeconomics, microeconomics, and statistics

How did you manage to do IB and AP at the same time???

​@@glitterunicorn333 i'm in an accelerated program that allows us to complete IB during sophomore and junior years, and those classes are combined with the AP curriculum so we can take complete the full IB diploma and take AP tests.
