Wow you obviously worked very hard in school and deserve to be accepted to these great colleges! As a university grad myself, I want to say make sure you enjoy your school experience, and don't feel like you need to be perfect all of the time. Effort is clearly important, but don't be too hard on yourself. High grades are nice, but enjoying what you are studying is most important.
So glad you got into MIT! Here I am, a senior, and I'm questioning everything. At first, I wanted to be a Civil Engineer, but now I think I want to be a musician (big difference, I know). I only got a 30 on my ACT, but at least my GPA is good and I have some AP credits.
@@danielwilschetz1490 Hey, I'm not from the states and I'd like to know, how much does your ACT score improve from the first time you take a practice test till the time you take the last one? does it even improve? cause today I took the free practice test online and got a 25. It's my first time ever taking this kind of test, is it likely that I get a +30 someday (or +1400 on sat)?
Congratulations Nathan. My daughter will be applying to college this year, that is why I am watching so many videos. Let me tell you, you are one of the very few that got accepted to MIT. I think there are more acceptance to Harvard and Stanford than MIT. At this point I thought it was impossible to get an acceptance there. You probably accepted at Yale. Good luck young man, wishing you the best.
that's because youtube is not a real representation of the actual acceptance rates. harvard and stanford have lower acceptance rates than MIT so more people have actually been accepted to MIT than to harvard and stanford.
massive congrats! been following your ig since your comMITted post. so happy to know you started youtube channel and share this video. can't wait to see more videos from you!
one thing i would say is to write in a way that shows your true voice/identity. the creative style of writing college apps are completely different to formal school writing. write in a way that mirrors the way you think or how you see the world. AOs want to see those aspects of you and what type of person you are, so try to craft writing that shows those aspects
Woah this is amazing!! Seeing this video somehow assured me to push myself and aspire to be someone like the ones I admire. Congratulations and which school did you commit to?
🎉 congratulations!!! you have such a wonderful and humorous spirit!! I wish you the best of luck at your college - yaaay again, I hope you can enjoy your summer with friends and family before things pick up this fall!! :)
Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Automatic Thumb Up from me for: (1) putting college name on-screen, (2) decision on-screen, (3) using Chapters in the video timeline.
Congratulations 🎊🎉!!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 This was by far the best/funniest reactions video I have ever watched and I’ve watched hundreds if not more. You remind me of Mr. Bean.
for me, i focused on what my college experience would look like, in regards to extracurricular and research opportunities, dorm life, surrounding city, resources for student support, and ofc, financial aid.
I'm new here, but I love the fact that you're friends with the Nigerian girl. My name's Chinenye😅... the difference in our names is the vowel exchange. Proud you got into MIT
