dtxx 〈3 in my experience I got deferred and they wanted to see my grades from my first term of senior year 🤷🏼♀️ but that was awhile ago so maybe things changed idk
You have such amazing choices girl !!! Im so proud of you (was highkey crossing my fingers for Berkeley so i could meet you) but OMG UCLA AND ALL THE OTHERS? AWESOME JOBBBBB ❤❤❤

Aaaahhh congrats on so many acceptances!!! I am currently a first year at UW Seattle and I personally love the environment and the work ethic; it can just get really competitive but what college isn’t? But just go with your gut and choose a school you can see yourself at and absolutely killing it!
love your channel! I'm currently a sophomore at UCLA and I love it so much! The campus is beautiful and though it sounds cliche, the best thing about UCLA is the people. The student body is so diverse and I've already made so many incredible friendships that I'm confident will last a lifetime. Congrats on all of your acceptances and wherever you decide to go, you're going to do great things!
I'm from California and this is my first year at UW Seattle and I absolutely love it :) BIG congrats on getting into Foster bc I know it's super difficult! UW is a great university with lots to offer and I strongly recommend it!
Congrats on UCLA!! And what do you mean by deferred when you were talking about NYU and USC etc.? I thought in regular decision you either get accepted/rejected/waitlisted
hahaha huge fan of the disclaimer about the monotone reactions - some of us just get excited on the inside!! (although I feel like these reactions weren't monotone at all hahaha)
Congratulations on all your acceptances Melanie!! I've been watching your videos since your sophomore year, and I can't express how happy I am for you! I can't believe that this will be me next year. Wherever you go, I wish you the best!!
congrats on all of your acceptances!!!! also my name is also melanie so that’s fun i’ve heard good things ab all of those universities so it’s really up to you to decide and see which school would best fit your needs like location, major, programs, scholarships, etc. good luck and don’t put too much pressure on deciding bc anywhere you go will be great!!
Hey! Lil tip from my own experience! If you want to get into those waitlist schools: keep in touch with the admissions office! Email them with questions and keep expressing your interest in the school! That will bump you to the top of their list!! GREAT job!! Very happy for you!!
FINALLY someone posted Regular people schools that I would apply to instead of the Ivy League it really brought my hopes up about the chances of me getting into a school
Best of luck! Best way for me was college tours but ofc with the latest events that may look a little different (see if there is a virtual tour if you have not visited yet). Also check out what the admissions office is doing to guide you to picking their school-- are they reaching out? Investigate the program you are interested in and see what that course/pathway looks (also student life and resources) also if you are interested in minoring or can minor -- what minors do they offer?? Ofc it is your decision and what ever way you choose it will be a memorable 4 years (: (sorry this is lengthy I am a graduating senior this semester!)
I’m going to ASU in the fall! I’m originally from Iowa, so I’m super excited! I visited the school during the summer and got a tour. The campus is AMAZING! The staff and students were super helpful and welcoming. I just had my orientation (online) last week and the advisors were super helpful and gave lots of info! Tempe (where asu is located) is super cute and has many things to do! I know multiple people that went to ASU and loved it!
Melanie I doubt you will ever see this but this just came to my mind.... you should dye your hair an ashy blonde color!!! You would look so amazing with it! Also congrats!❤️
Congrats on your acceptances! I’m a transfer student from community college and I’m waiting on 3 of the 4 UC schools I applied to (they come out on the 17th for transfer students in CA) Wish me luck 🥺
dont worry about being waitlisted from Berkeley! a lot of people get off the waitlist so keep ya hopes up :) I'm a current Berkeley sophomore so feel free to hmu for any questions!
I would love to see a video where you tell us what certain things you had on your application because I am part of the class of 2021 and want to know what you did cause you got into many good schools that I also am looking to apply to thanks!
I went to cal poly and loved it! SLO is an awesome college town and employers really like cal poly grads. I’m sure you’ll have a great experience wherever you decide to go!
Do a lot of research and take what everyone says about each college with grain of salt. Everyone is different and has different opinions on the right college. Talk to lots of people but also take that into consideration. Follow your heart and don't let people influence you too much. I'm currently a freshman in college and looking back I was so stressed. But it all works out in the end! Good Luck! :)
I literally found out I got accepted to Mitchell while I was in English class and my teacher was behind me and the screen was filled with confetti and I was SO embarrassed ahaha. But CONGRATS!!!!! You got into some really amazing schools!! ❤️❤️
Congrats girl! I’m so happy for you! I’m a junior this year and was wondering if you could do a stats video just so I have some insight on what colleges are looking for. Thanks 😊
you should go to ucla!! i live in the south bay of LA and know many bruins/bruin alumni who say it is amazing. also, i’ve been to the campus and it’s so pretty
omg congratulations!!! I was wondering if you could make a video about your stats and things like that because I am a junior right now and was hoping to apply to many of the schools you got accepted into and as a business major as well! It would be superrrr helpful 💗💗💗💗💗
Make sure the school that you pick gives you good financial aid. Other than that, ask around for opinions of people who go to those schools and visit campuses if possible to get a feel of the vibes.
I am in my first year at UCLA! i honestly love it so much, the campus and the people make the rigorous academics worth it. Also i saw you got in for pre business economics, it is a very popular major at UCLA lol. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and sorry there isn't a bruin day this year because of covid-19 :( Hope you chose the school for you!
I really don’t want what I want to do and want to be when I grow up. I’m like, in the division of two opposing extremes whereas I wanted to get into a good college but also wanted to be a god damn artist. Like it just seems so boring, going to a college and become a lawyer and all that. Then you lived a successful life and have a family. After all if that’s what we’re gonna do then what’s the purpose of life?
