it is very much better this way where you have to dedicate time to learning each prospect’s 3 key interests, because you could be wasting lots of time on them. in the past you knew them right away and could avoid them to better utilize points elsewhere, now there’s risk and time invested into every potential prospect you’re interested in

Cane I (unironically) can not wait for you to spend and insane amount of time and effort to get a back up 2 star running back as a lower level team only for him to stab you in the back and go to your rival were he inevitably rushes for 200 yards against you costing you the game. I like that it has depth to it. There’s going to be a learning curve but once we get the hang of it I think it’ll be really fun.

@@MrHurriicane it’s still gonna have its people that whole heartedly believe it’s a good game & who loves the arcade aspect of it .. I genuinely only purchased the deluxe edition even tho the mvp bundle was a great bang for ya buck .. after 11 years I’m burnt out of that product.

After the deep dive today, I decided there was no way Madden’s franchise mode wasn’t going to be able to compete with dynasty. Ended up going Deluxe CFB25 just like you.

Only way Madden will have life is if they add all the coaching carousal and upgrade the offseason

@@tylerfischer768 I know this is an absolute shot in the dark here but my UMD Terps have only had one 10-win season in the past 20 years... Probably an unlikely choice though. UNC and Syrcause also fit that criteria. And if we're talking perenial underperformers that have had TWO 10-win seasons since 2003, there's Miami, SMU, Minnesota, and Pitt. I can't wait to see who Cane picks

Unfortunately it's not going to be in the game. Because the college players are going to be licensed, EA can't import them into Madden since they're not NFL-liscensed as well

School pipelines are static but coach pipelines can change which makes sense. Like kalen Dabeor is a west coast guy atm but Alabama is still gonna be a south east recruiting.

@winstonlewis5630 right but that's still only 1 place if the school's pipeline is weak. And realistically powerhouse school's have more than 2 pipelines off their tradition alone. And u can't tell me that a team can't rise from nothing to become one if those powerhouses because that's exactly what The U did with coach Schnellenberger. And now "The State of Miami" that used to be their pipeline has extended into different regions such as Texas and Georgia. If a school can create a pipeline in a real life based off their success I don't see why it can't be in the game. But that's my only true criticism so far. Everything seems potentially good. We won't know for sure until release I just don't want to get my hopes too high and we're still talking about EA here

@@shinglesshingles it seems my point wasn’t relayed very well. Well first off schools have more than 1 pipeline. And second So let’s say you are playing Miami you will get a boost in south Florida because you are Miami. But as a coach (Schnellenberger) you can create pipelines elsewhere. You can make as many pipelines as your coach skill allows you to as addition to the schools pipeline.

@winstonlewis5630 if that's the case then cool but I still feel like the dynamic pipelines should be there for the school itself. Because even after a coach leaves if that program is good enough to sustain itself then why not let it keep pipelines that were developed under the first coach (back to Schnellenberger and how it went to Jimmy Johnson then Erikson and onto Butch Davis) if the school can continue to pull kids from there and win. It just feels like a missed opportunity to make all these great changes to pipelines then deadlock them so players/fans can't take full advantage of the feature just because their school was 2☆. And it doesn't have to be easy to establish a new pipeline like before where just having 3-5 guys on the roster was enough. Like I said establishing a pipeline should take years but it is a real thing for universities even outside of coaches and the changes that may happen. But yet again it is my only critique so far

Ummm how often do you actually see a big school completely drop off ? Mental abilities shouldn’t really grow, it’s a way to make sure not every player plays the same.

They actually don’t, at least not for everybody, according to Bordeaux at least who did have hands on experience from the beta event earlier this year. That makes sense tho as there’s no way every player would have a 40 time. Thats really not how that works. I image if speed doesn’t show up in the main 10 attributes it’s some what if a guessing game based of position, height, weight, and archetype. Could be mistaken here tho just what I have pieced together

@@mitchellima7548 Thats interesting. Like I said I was just assuming. I will say at least with skill position players even if scouts don't have a players 40 time irl they can watch film or go live to get a feel for their speed. Interested to see how it works in game.

@@mitchellima7548 looking back at the deep dive it did show speed, acceleration and strength on a defensive ended they scouted. So maybe it’s completely random.

@@Hargis40 it could be. I have mixed feeling if it is random (physical attributes like speed strength acceleration in particular). First and foremost scouting looks amazing and I’m so glad it seem challenging and interesting. And I do enjoy fog of war aspects. But not knowing speed for a wr can be a deal breaker off the bat. Strength for an online as well. But I think I like that. It’s makes it so what you know about players is just what defines them, and everything else is sorta a hoping game(which isn’t that far from real life). I’m just excited to get my hands on the game

It's not. The recruiting system is better than just having to put points into players. It might look the same overall bc they just took what they did in 14 and expanded upon it!! Still gets me excited for it

No way you got thought this entire deep dive and came to that conclusion when there is a shit tone of changes and it is clearly way more in depth. Team management, staff management, play attributes abilities and play style, coaching attribute abilities and play style, coach carousel, recruiting, transfers, week to week player management, and an insane amount of interconnectivity that ties everything together. This is an asinine comment. Every aspect I mention is not just way different then 14 but also much improved and more in depth.

Some of the views are identical, like the coach summary showing past records. But there is a ton of new stuff too
