They tried to say they couldn’t add create a team, but the year that cfb 25 returns, all of a sudden there’s madden teambuilder? They just don’t want to lose sales and it’s showing. They’re just starting to add things back to the game after 11 years. It’s sad. And they’re promoting it as new

Madden team can’t do this because they just don’t care enough. It was so obvious from the start. The ncaa team talked about referencing old ncaa games from the past meanwhile madden has talked about how they never wanna go back to those old games or reference them. They don’t care about what good aspects were in those games. It’s obvious.
My main worry is that with the port of RTG players going to madden is gonna cause too many restrictions on RTG in the college football game and that would be aggravating
It’s because the shareholder want to get paid. Them and the NfL want minimum spent and maximum earned. Also, they don’t want them to take the time off and work on it. They want a release every year because kids buy Ultimate Team.
It’s not the teams fault, it the people who manage the team. The Madden team is not inept, they instead just follow orders and the orders are “don’t worry about the gameplay, just tinker the graphics, change the run to make it bad and the pass to make it good, and ULTIMATE TEAM
@jeremiahtisdell4823 It's always "management". Two things can be true at once. The devs are human, they can be greedy, selfish, etc. We've seen games without the "management" fail because not every dev is good. EA is terrible from the top down, from the devs, to the management.
I still cant get over the fact that the moment College Football brought back team builder, Madden just magically develops one too. Even though they’d been telling us they weren’t allowed to by the NFL 😂
I wish but I highly doubt it. NIL was why they couldn't do football for 11 years. They've got to get agreements with players and schools, and it's only around 135 schools. For basketball that's about 300+ schools and their players. Also, the last college basketball game didn't even sell half as many copies as the football game. Gotta make a profit, and NIL along with not as high Sells means companies probably won't see a benefit to making a college basketball game.
Ironically the creative director for this game formerly worked for 2k so it just might considering it will sell well and have a consistent player base regardless
I've been hurt too much to get overly hype and pre order the game or anything but i'm as cautiously optimistic as i've possibly ever been about a football game. Really hope it lives up to the hype, but won't be surprises if it doesn't.
Behind the scenes I think EA has basically said whoever can make the better game mechanically will take over from here on out. I think the team who has been making madden has gotten so lazy that the good stuff the CFB team has created is blowing them out of the water. THIS IS PURE SPECULATION, HOPEFUL SPECULATION.
Looks like a great game. I think ppl are excited because its something new. According to the gameplay footage, it still looks like the actual football logic on the field may still need some work.
I’m starting to think that it will be a hard task because of all the moving parts. 24 players colliding is a lot. It’s 2024 and next gen. So I think that it will always be a problem at this point I believe.
the gameplay is probably at its peak if we being honest only way the gameplay improves is if ea stops trying to save money and invest their billions of dollars into a game changing visual system that is even better than what 2k has they should partner with the developers of the old backbreaker games and develop something truly astonishing
@@kkaniyas nah backbreaker was far too wonky if you actually played it. Something similar would be nice but those guys also were just British and didn’t actually know anything about football.
I got Madden 08 and NCAA 08 for Christmas one year with my PS2, I played both and NCAA was so much better I never looked back at Madden. So glad the world is going to see how great this franchise is! You Madden guys are in a for a treat.
Ehh I gotta disagree here. NCAA 08 is great (still have it on my ps2) but madden 08 was truly the last spectacular madden we have had. They switched the engine in madden 09 with Favre on the cover and it’s been slowly downhill ever since. But ur talkin about the best madden in 08/07
Now that is slick giving you 2-5 star options that make a lot of situations possible and choosing different schools and have different outcomes, I dig that.

Here's my problem: without physics do the stats even matter when you play the game? That QB is low elusive and quick which would be equal to Peyton Manning running but i bet when you pick up a joystick he will be as fast as Michael Vick. Again, loads of eye candy ineffective on-field play with stats that don't matter. I need physics, not eye candy. Has anyone seen how accurate a CPU vs CPU looks with clock management? Some of us are stats and coach guys. Still banking on Modus being a better on-field product than this game.
In Madden I have a MLB character that I put everything into Play Rec. I can see if it is a pass or not. Even though I was on the saints (Let whoever wanted me) We went to the playoffs due to our Defense stopping everyone, But our Offense had us lose the wildcard, but our Defense was stronk. The problem was that even thou I can see the routes and if it was a pass, I couldn't ever get to the ball carrier. Player was slow, and everyone else kept getting to them first. Could only manage 1 tackle a game got some picks but for some reason all the hit stick tackles don't count as a tackle nor forced fumbles. Im going Underdog MLB for FAU.
I thought it would be cool if your physical appearance changed based on your activities. In the old Fight Night games, the training you did would make you look more muscular, leaner, etc. Weight training made you more muscular. I think the speed bag made you look leaner. There was a couple other options as well.
-no high school -mini games to rise in depth chart I hope the mode is still challenging and not a madden career mode re-skin.. sometimes it took a year or two to start cause those scrimmages were brutal.. i hope im not just clicking thru my “to do list” and playing games and starting instantly cause the mini games are easy
I can't wait - just hoping we can "play" as coach, watch the plan instead of joysticking the games. Best game ever to this day for football is Goallineblitz and I'm hoping we can get in the weeds as coach like you can in that MMO football game
Saw some early Gameplay from the Game from QJB (for RTG) or Not the Expert (for dynasty mode). I’m definitely sold. I can honestly see that this dev team care 10 times more than Madden
If you would have told me back in 2007, that in the year 2024, we would still have a football video game that didn’t have physics or gang tackles … I would have told you that you are insane.
I’m really excited for CFB and it will be bought regardless but, I have a feeling that this will be a huge blunder waiting to happen. Call me crazy but, it just sounds like we’re gonna be starting at our player while pressing A to pick if we study and then go do Training camp from M23 and then play. There’s no HS ball, and even tho we have great customization options now, we’re still gonna be missing a lot from this game from what it sounds like. I’m waiting to see the execution but I’m 50/50 til the

Hear me out, a connected RTG would be amazing. Imagine yourself and a buddy/s join a connected RTG server and you both be qbs and could run into each other throughout the season / playoffs and directly compare career stats. Go a step farther and let me be qb and buddy be rb on the same team or both mlbs for one team for four seasons. Would be amazing.

Still don't understand why they chose not to include other positions. Especially since TE is similar to WR and Safety is similar to CB, I feel like at least those should have been easy to include... but what do I know
I just hope they have more than 1 choice for the voice over with the story. It kind of ruins the immersion if you make a southern dude, or a guy from the east coast but he sounds like an inner city black kid from LA or California in general.
If you already have gamepass ultimate, you have ea play. And with ea play you get a 10 hour gameplay trial on the 16th for college football 25, No need to buy if you’re on the fence. Those 10 hours should be enough to tell whether this is the game for you or not. I will definitely be utilizing that. I don’t trust EA.
Seeing not the experts recruiting the sim stats seem kind of messed up and recruiting seems a little easy for him being a 1 star, other than that the game looks good and you can probably patch that

The features in this game are the biggest indictment on the madden development team. Even before playing it, it's very clear that it's miles and miles better. Everything about the game from promotion, depth of the game, actively catering to the desires of the fans, it's like a completely different company. I cannot understand for the life of me why they refuse to put even a small fraction of this effort into what's supposed to be their most important game.
I've just seen some on field game play by some Madden Clan Content Creators. It.....looks.....like.....Madden. On the field. The only difference is that they've added some new, terrible camera angles. The way the players move, the way they behave, it looks exactly like Madden. The in game super sim overlay....same as Madden. UI, same as Madden.
Funny to see the day moody jump on the EA bandwagon astonishingly without actually playing the game a lot of these things were in the ps2 days nothing astonishing here I’ll wait and see if the o line can actually block before they get my money and it won’t be before a deep sale EA won’t get any hype love from me
The fact that it took them all of these years to finally convince them to actually put effort into their games is pretty sad, but I'm just glad EA finally trying again. This is what we wanted this whole time, and it's not that big of an ask.
