This is just a brief video of Dr. Matthew Hale saying, hi. I tell you a bit about myself....my dog....and I do so with stupid video edits.

Disclaimer: I’m not in your class and I don’t know how I got here.* Just based on the intro your virtual class seems infinitely more engaging than any of what I’m teaching or taking this semester. Any suggestions for further resources if one wanted to learn more about digital education?

Apologies. I didn't realize I had missed this comment. First off, thank you for the kind words. For me, the biggest improvement in my content (I think at least) happened when I got a cheap teleprompter setup that works with tablet devices. I plop my iPad in it. It says so much time and frustration. Also, I taught myself Photoshop during the pandemic. That helped tremendously. It gave me something to do during the pandemic that was productive/creative and it allowed me make memes/stupid visuals for video essays. As for resource, you might check out Hybrid Pedagogy and I'd highly recommend Rick Beato. He's a former professor, a musician, producer, educator. His content is impeccable. It's exactly what I'd aspire to make/grow sometime in the future (though much, much, much, much smaller).
