It’s hard to tell from the video since we only see a bit but there didn’t seem to be a lot of back to the head punches and they’re not throwing very hard since they don’t seemed trained. Weight discrepancy doesn’t seem to be a factor either. Besides it being a freak accident, the only other thing I can think of is drugs consumption that lead to dehydration. I say that in the most respectful and unjudgemental way possible. RIP

I think this was bad luck with a combination of ignorance. There is actually a lot of medical tests and vetting before boxers can even go through to prevent accidents as much as possible. They thought they could just imitate this I remember I was that age, you just want to have fun. Something like this would seem fun to the untrained eye especially a young person just starting out in the world.

Personally, I think sometimes it’s a coping mechanism. I tend to laugh or smile in serious situations but that’s my own personal response. I’ve been in situations where it’s traumatic or I’ve gotten bad news and I’ve sat there laughing or smiling. I just didn’t know how to process things
