@@akqjtn hey, I bought this wax based on your recommendation. Amazing stuff.. Definitely need to warm it up in hot water as you suggested but it is the easiest stuff to apply once warm. And it wipes off easily with no residue or powder. Best wax ever and thanks for the review.

I've been using this for about 20yrs and it's easily the best wax I've used. I even use it on my shower screen and it saves me so much work cleaning.

I have been using Collinite 845 for over a decade. A teaspoon of wax covers an entire car and even light paint colors get a nice deep shine. Fantastic stuff!

A guy just recommended this today at advance auto parts. Just used it today. Extremely impressed with this stuff. This has a shine like no other. Also I was told this will protect from road grim and debris and especially heavy road salt. I did 2 coats took my time

I've been using this stuff on my Tuxedo Black 2014 Fusion for 5 years and it's amazing. I usually apply a coat once a year and also do all of my glass and lamps and I've never had any issues. It lasts forever, even with frequent washes. I'm doing a full polish right now with the Collinite polish and it's looking so good.

I applied this method to a Tesla Model 3 (Pearl White) and to a 2018 Lexus ES 350 Gold. The results were great. I applied and removed the wax using side to side motions, not circular. Applied using a micro fiber sponge and removed using a fresh micro fiber towel for each panel. I waited 25 min prior to beginning to remove the wax beginning at the first panel. Great video brotha. Love it, use it professionally. Lasts about 5 months or so, helps resist bugs and great as a prewinter wax, because it also helps resist salt... After all, it's a boat wax.

Quick and right to the point!! Try applying the jescar power lock plus sealant before using the collinate wax but let the powerlock cure for 3 hours before applying 845!! Amazing combo

Wolfgang Deep gloss 3.0 sealant works better than power lock and then collinite 845 over the top after it cures. Then after every few washes I tip it with Sonax brilliant shine detailer

Thanks for the upload! I happen to drive a 2018 WRX in WR Blue Pearl myself, so it was super satisfying seeing this product showcased on your own car. I found this product through Obsessed Garage and I can't wait to see the end results on my own Subaru!

This stuff is what i use at my day job for polishing porcelain high voltage insulators.. after treatment, nothing sticks to the insulators preventing conductive materials from forming a path to ground. Its good stuff!

I used meguires gold class wax for a while and switch to collinite 845 about 2 months ago. Decided to give meguires a run again and I realized how much harder it is to apply. Maybe my wax went bad, but meguires went on super thick and sticky- it made the applicator pad stick to the surface. Almost like smearing glue over the panel. Switched out to collinite and it went on effortless, wiping off was also effortless compared to meguires. 845 is by far my favorite wax. Did half the car with meguires and half with 845, can’t tell the difference. 6 weeks, ~12 washes out of my first collinite application. 6 of the washes were touchless drive thrus, so it was hard on the wax. The roof, lower door panels are still beading decently. But the hood is completely wiped out and so are the upper doors near the windows. Definitely worth the money.

been using collinite 845 for about 20 yrs apply it once a year easy on easy off great stuff tried others but always came back to collinite love it won't use anything else love this stuff I get about 5 applications for one bottle good price

Love Collinite! One thing you didn't mention is it's longevity - 845 can last months between applications! Combine that with its price and ease of application, and it's hard to beat!

Ben Walters I am a professional mobile detailer in Ohio. I use this product all the time and it usually last on an everyday driver about 6 to 9 months, and I have some cars that actually last up to 12 months!

@@94muddertrucker Being a mobile detailer, have you had any issues with hazing a few days after application like others have reported? Seems like a great wax but Matt form OG and others mention hazing that happens and it has turned me off from using it.

Jackson Woods hazing only happens if they applied too much and not buffing it out correctly.

One other tip; Use Jescar Ultra Power Lock Sealant as the base, then after that cures, top with the Collinite 845 - WoW - water fly's off the panels!!!

The Mad Waxer from Hudson Florida approves of this wax.I have used fleetwax for 30 years.this wax is great and easier than paste.This wax can dissapear.make sure you get it off.also stay off plastic trim that are pourous.I love this wax.🇺🇸🇺🇸🚗🚗😎😎

I have used 845 for years and also Collinite Doublcoat wax. On my cars and truck it's Collinite or nothing. I also agree with you about Nu Finish, tried it 15 years ago and it's worthless. Your car looks awesome, keep up the good work.

I tried this as well and I can say this is better than the Meguires Ceramic Liquid wax since this makes the paint smoother and stays longer.

I have used Collinite 845 FOR YEARS. The video he says that there are better waxes still available, I would love to know what as I find Collinite is as good as I have ever had and price quite reasonable and its LONG LASTING!!

Great video. ..theres no bs...very practical. ...ive used the product and have to say..be careful with drying time...longer u leave it, harder to remove. ..priming the applicator is a helpful hint...thanks.

I applied it with my Da and a noziol spray when the wax has melted.I found it easier to apply instead by hand. Very recommended wax.

I'm polishing right now with my DA and still haven't decided if I want to apply the 845 by hand or with the DA. Why do you prefer the DA and what speed do you run it at for the wax?

@@defaced8 Because with the da you apply a thin layer and will be easier to remove the wax. Use the da on low speed 2 or 3.

Great video. Been into detailing cars since I got my first car in 1984. Used everything from Turtle Wax ,klasse, meguairs, Finish Kare, Einsett,Zaino, Duragloss,Wolfgang,etc... Tired of spending all day detailing so I cut done to simplicity. Use Clay towel, Duragloss 501 and follow up with Aqyawax. Works and last. Ordered 845 today to top off every 2 months for extra shine and durability. We will see if it is that good! When I wash my car I use duragloss rinseless wash and it has Aqua wax in it so every wash looks like a fresh waxed car. I have to admit your Subaru looks great. On the 845 does it stain any trim whatsoever? Can't wait to try it on the windshield.

Nice. If you want it to pop even more and last longer.... put some Jescar Power Lock Sealant on first, wait at least a few hours then apply a couple layers of Collinite 845. It POPS like crazy if you do and should last quite a while.

In your video you said, "I'm sure there are better waxes out there." I'm not so sure about that. Collinite 845 is one of the very best I have ever used, and I have tried at least 40 waxes over the last 25 years. There are other great products out there, but I'm not sure any of them are better, especially when you consider the ease of application, durability and value.

Ok. Please understand. The wax is supposed to be in a soft paste state. Place a squeeze cap on top to squeeze product from bottle. You should be working in a 70degree or better temp. Changing the properties of the wax to liquid may most likely change its bonding property

This sounds easier, and almost better then ceramic coating, I know it doesn't last as long but apply twice a year for a fraction of ceramic coating.

great video, with my 845 I use a pump sprayer head, seems to work very well for me and what's funny is my bottle is about the same level of product left that you're bottle is , I've done my dad's Avalon once with it, and my mom's Highlander twice....

Timbo... I saw someone else mention using a trigger sprayer. Do you just spray a light coat on an area and then use a microfiber towel, turning frequently? That seems even easier than using an applicator. Thanks.

Yeahhhhh you know what you talking about it, Try it Collinate 815, the cream of etiquette , or something like that, Has a lot of carnauba, now i change my car to white color so when back to 845 or fusso , because can't see much deep in white, but my red corvette was out of these world,

Really depends on your location and time of year. I find it holds for a few months on average.

Boss, is it safe to apply this wax on a fresh new car? Like literally fresh off the lot, go home then apply it? Or should i still do the decontamination process, strip wash, clay bar..etc..etc? Thanks

Appreciate the tutorial, was very helpful for first timer using this product. One question I have is I did the glass and windshield as you mentioned and not the wipers seem to chatter, especially when it's just mist out. Did I do something incorrectly? Thanks!
