She's challenging him with questions and facts---that's journalism not activism. Activism is advocating for a specific party or side of an issue. She's questioning and challenging; it's called holding those in power accountable. When people know they made a mistake or have something to hide, they resist such questioning and deny, deny, deny. And then criticize the media as a tactic of deflection, trying to avoid the magnifying glass upon their words or actions. Cruz, again and again, refused to acknowledge the evidence that the anchor kept raising. That's because his answers were not answers. He refuses to accept that the 'findings' were publicized, but rejected by the courts. You can't hide evidence that doesn't exist. He even said "he felt" there was fraud, and once again provided no evidence. The proof Republicans have on this are feelings, and that doesn't establish proof. So he's full of shit and he knows it. What happens is people don't accept each other's feelings on this issue -- the courts only accept proof. And there was none. That's why all the attempts failed, and Republicans still don't accept the results. There was death in the transfer of power, not peace. The power transferred, but not peacefully. Only lawfully.

He bases his actions on a political situation from 150 years ago and thinks a similar action is applicable today. The judicial system was not in place then. All the high tech counting system for vote counts today are very accurate. He fails to mention that most of the fraud committed (however small) was committed on the side of the GOP. Actually, I think that she did not handle this interview very well. She let Mr. Cruz derail the topic into "CNN is claiming that there is no voter fraud", which is a lie. She let Mr. Cruz tell it multiple times and she did not push back against it. She just kept asking her question but in the meantime Mr. Cruz was delivering his message to his audiences. He seems to have a lot of conversation and debating and psychological manipulation skills and he is using all of them to his advantage.
That was an “interview” in the loosest sense of the word. Kaitlyn and CNN are a laughing stock outside your little bubble. It's because there have been multiple investigations on January 6 and in fact the J6 Committee not only hid evidence of what happened, they also destroyed evidence of J6. What we have seen was a protest outside of the Capital and the Capital State police escorting people inside of the Capital building. If your not aware of that, then you need to watch the videos that got released. The fact that on J6, Trump wanted a "peaceful protest" as he mentioned in his own speech and somehow that got interpreted as an "insurrection" is what's criminal. You need to know what the definition is of an "insurrection" before claiming one actually occurred and then have actual evidence, not hearsay where the more you dig, the more the contrary of evidence is presented.
