@@user-wt1jd4rc9n there is no law saying he has to publicly announce any investigations. If so, he would have announced the investigation into Trump as well. The only reason we even know about the Trump investigation is because it was in the Mueller Report (that no one actually read because they think it exonerated Trump, which it didn’t). He made a calculated decision as a LIFELONG REPUBLICAN to make a public declaration about the Clinton investigation. Comey has buyers remorse now. I have feds in my family and we have had long conversations about this.

There have been specials about Comey's time with Trump and he had a choice to make and he made the correct choice. DON'T FORGET Trump DID NOT win the peoples popular vote, he won due to the electoral college !! Comey was an awesome FBI director, that of course is why Trump, the worst President EVER, fired him.

She is very disappointing, weirdly I agree with lots of her views (except the pro-Israel and anti-abortion access). I have my answer just vote democratic and hope for a better candidate like Andrew Yang or AOC or Buttigieg, Sanders (same age problem tho).

it seems I read that he has said he regrets it -- perhaps he feels like this is the only atonement for his sin -- to stand up and give facts as often as possible. Not letting him off the hook but I do think it matters for hm to step forward and admit he was wrong

No, he reopened the investigation just days before an election on the vaguest of pure speculation. Which proved to be a waste of time since no new evidence turned up. For some reason Comey had a bug under his butt because Bill Clinton had a short conversation when he ran into Obama AG Loretta Lynch. Resulting in inappropriate editorializing when he released the original report in July 2016 and violated every FBI and DOJ rule when he reopened the investigation in late October 2016. And continues to insist he did nothing wrong and would do the same thing again even knowing it was a waste of time and impacted an election. Arrogant and self righteous best describes Comey. A standard Republican affliction.

What's even more disgraceful is this: That the election was so close that Comey could even have an effect. Due to all those naive low-information voters in those swing states who were sucked in by Trump's BS that he was a businessman and would run the country like a business. 'Yeah, let's give him a shot...what's the worse that could happen??' I don't feel good bad-mouthing the voters, but I've heard so many voters say why they voted for Trump and am not impressed by about 95% of the reasoning and analytical skills used to come to that decision.
