If we ever get a third album in this lifetime, i hope this song is the last one on the tracklist, like Ruler of Everything and Fate of the Stars. It just has that "ending" vibe.
ok thank you very very very much for this comment. I'm working on a cover project for Hawaii: Part II and your comment gave me an idea to rework this song as a sort of track 0 transitionary thing and I probably wouldn't have thought of it had you not commented how the lyrics are like that.
your Mari pfp actually makes sense with this song because Omori and Basil (the people who caused the eyo the pizza here incident) have different colors in headspace than everybody else
i always associate this song with the color of their ties and how the bands (practically) gone, even though the song has a different meaning it just makes me sad everytime
This song is beautiful. There was something so special about their music you can't find anywhere else. I really hope Tally Hall makes more music together, but I'm still so grateful for the songs we have.
[Verse 1] On the darkened road, the saddest songs lift slowly to her ears Rounding corners, drifting into sound as visions soon appeared Head toward the transparent ledge of a dream Takes just another step to get you there Melts with the wisdom which drowns in white sound Stay close, fantastic sieves pollute the air, and make us care [Chorus] Color be gone, aah Mmhmm [Verse 2] From the mellow trees, her slighted mind sights black lights overhead Withered baritones, her skeletons reveal what's left unsaid Head toward the manifest jester of meat Here's to the whelming of the atmosphere Melts with the ice storm of waning machines Hold for a moment when the makers share a hint of care [Chorus] Color be gone, aah Mmhmm [Bridge] For those lost in Wonders Den Follow not the one who's sent Lift a finger to the sky Light shall come and catch the eye Here until there's nothing left to mend [Verse 3] On the other side, he calls for all commotion to await Combs the grounds for those unguided seeking solace at the gate Head toward the bitter mirage of a queen Survived by members of a new frontier Melt from the odd and bizarre old routine Forgotten by a need to cry and hear the ones too clear [Chorus] Color be gone, aah Color be gone, aah Mmhmm
@@cormorantcolors6791 thanks sm for the lyrics. I just realized that the song goes from the songs protagonist currently dying to going to heaven. Like a bridge to heaven
@@dr.uselessYIIK thats the joke though, zubin (possibly doesnt) writes melancholic tunes (expressing a form of deppresion) rob writes heterophronic tunes (same tune played by different instruments)
this could've fit at the end of good & evil, especially considering good & evil is about black & white. I guess if Fate Of The Stars was their final song (not talking about Just a Friend) then this wouldn't fit well considering its sad tone.
This song makes me a little somber knowing that I probably won’t see or hear any music from all 5 of the together. Sure Joe makes songs still but it isn’t the same
AYO YOYOYOOYOYOYOYOO ITS YA BOY JOHNNY G BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH ANOTHER UPLOAD TODAY WE'RE COVERING FORTNITE SEASON 2 THATS RIGHT BABY ITS OUT NOW LETS SEE WHAT WE GOT
