Other lessons on hue shifts tend to ignore value and saturation and deal only with how the color shifts on the wheel. You’re a real one for covering that aspect. Can you please tell me if , in your Color shift technique, do you only change the hue as you move from light to shadow? Or does the saturation also move? Because some colors when saturated tend to also gain a darker value. It’s really confusing.
I try to see color shifting as intuitive. So if it looks better with more/less saturation then I would follow that hunch! Normally I would say shadows i work with less saturation unless I'm going for an unrealistic take but with a fun experiment look, then I'll play with bonker colors like lime green as the shadows lol
