Thank you for this tutorial. I avoid portraits because I always struggle with the hair, regardless of the colour I pick. But after watching you, I realize I go to fast, and I don’t do light layering. This was a great help. Thank you.😊

Awwww I am so very sorry for you losses, Jaimie. It's always heartbreaking to lose a fur baby. I can't imagine saying goodbye to two of them. 😰 And you and Jen are so funny!! I'm so very glad our paths have all crossed 💖💖💖

I'm so sorry for your loss. I totally understand that feeling as I have been through it several times and I say that their paw prints are forever on my heart. My first dog passed away over 10 years ago and I still cry if I think about him. He was my baby before I had babies! And I still keep his picture on my fridge. It's ok if it takes you a while to grieve, and if you ever need someone to talk to I am here for you ❤️🥰

Nicole, thank you SO very much for your kind note here and the one you left me on FB. ❤ It's helpful to have people reach out that know exactly how terrible this all feels. Each day gets a little easier, but dang if the grief doesn't sneak up on me and wallop me in the back of my head. He will always be my best little buddy. I'm actually having a cremation ring made so I can be with him (wear him? that sounds so weird LOL) every day. You'll probably see it in upcoming videos. Snick was always my only child since I didn't have any of my own until I met Mr George, who gifted me with two amazing step kids. That's so sweet that your dog was your baby before you had babies. 🥰 I love that. You must miss him terribly....😰 Anyway - thank you again, dear friend. I truly appreciate you!! 💖💖💖

@@snickerdoodlingllc Oh I thought you had lost another fur baby! I remember writing you on Facebook but I thought you lost another one. Sorry for the confusion! But regardless, I'm still here for you! And yes I still have days even all these years later when something reminds me of my first fur baby and it's like a punch in the stomach. I don't think that it's weird at all that you're getting the ring made! I think it's an awesome idea and I wish I had thought about that when I lost my fur baby! I think that will help to bring you some comfort knowing that you have him with you always. Mine was a 120 lb American Bulldog, everyone called him "gentle giant" because he was so big and he looked intimidating but he was the sweetest. But he shed a LOT! So I had a little bit of his fur in a picture frame with his picture in it but we had to put some stuff in a storage unit for a few months and it got ruined in there. A bunch of my stuff got ruined in that storage unit because of mold but anyway, I think the ring is a wonderful idea and I look forward to seeing what it looks like if you feel comfortable sharing it with us! I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and that I understand and I care🥰❤️

@@nicole_silvers Sorry for the confusion - same little fur baby 💖 I'll bet your gentle giant was the best "little" guy ever!! I wish I had kept some of Snick's hair (he didn't shed but had a very long, fluffy tail LOL!). I did get a paw print made, and we have a memorial stone on the way so we can sprinkle some of his ashes in the backyard garden where he loved to chase bunnies. I'm so sorry so much of your stuff got ruined while in storage - that completely sucks 😰 I'll definitely share my ring in a video when I get it! Thanks again for all the kindness and love!! You're the best 💖💖💖
