Colorado DLC for American Truck Simulator 

Coloradan here, and this DLC does a really good job recreating my home state! It's really a freaky feeling whenever you drive past places that I've driven by IRL many times over. Can't wait to get my hands on it

I'm also from the Tampa Bay area, but was stationed at Ft. Carson outside Colorado Springs for a while, and got my degree at CU Boulder. Brings back so many good memories to see someone driving down 25.

Living in Colorado, this is sick. Denver was done well and the exit for Loveland is pretty good. For the most part its pretty similar

Gotta say, as a person who lives in Colorado I'm pretty freaking impressed with the detail, especially in Denver. I think the one thing I would like is more like distance. Went from Denver to Loveland in 5 minutes lol. Other than that minor thing this map dlc looks like its going to be amazing.

I used to live in CO Trinidad wasn't too far from the town I lived in and been all over the entire state and I am impressed with the details of CO I watch all the videos I can and I enjoy your content keep it up man👍

Need to do a real CO trucking experience. Through the mountains in the winter.

They really did a great job capturing the essence of these cities in Colorado.

Born in colorado, driven through every lower 48 state. Denver was pretty accurate. 25/70 interchange looked like an exact replica.

I have lived in Colorado all my life. I have been in Fort Collins since 1997. Was born in the foul year of our lord 1964, however thank god I wasn't born in the 70's LOL. I haven't watched the full vid here, but I'm sure it'll be great! And, yes, that drive from Pueblo to Denver is very compressed. That drive is actually usually a nightmare with traffic jams and very slow going towards Denver during certain hours as you can imagine. Also, drivers in Colorado are as CRAZY as you'll find in other States.Colorado is not all mountains and ski slopes. I drive I-25 often and this game does not do well with the mountain views. Too bad.

I am from Colorado and my dad was a truck driver in Colorado! He died in a fiery crash a mile east of Cotopaxi hauling 9000 gallons of gasoline fifty years ago from a rock involved somehow. It had red paint on it and his truck was red but the rock had been drug off the road and we are not sure if he hit it coming around a curve or the rock hit him. His truck and tank was found on its side and his body was found on the right shoulder about fifty yards behind the truck. It happened early in the morning so no one else was hurt. Be careful out there all you drivers! You matter!

That one hill just past Walsenburg is spot on. They have captured little snippets of 1-25 accurately. I think it's kind of a shame the trip is only about 8-9% of how long it really should be. If only the traffic was accurate because damn, I-25 is screwed between 4-10pm from Colorado Springs and further North. It's the delay after the delay after the delay from one accident.

I was very impressed at the small detail on North Lincoln ave (21:10) there actually is a used car lot and a cemetery on both sides of that street. Although, youre right on the compactness of this game. Loveland is NOWHERE that tiny in real life.

They did raton pretty accurate, they spiced it up a little bit in the game but still had a couple of the buildings there modeled well

I live in Colorado, Fort Collins to be specific. I can say after watching that most of the areas like Downtown Denver around the stadium, Downtown ('old town') Fort Collins and the views of the mountains to your left going Northbound I25 is extremely accurate. They've done a good job with what they do have for scenery, mountains and certain small areas but definitely needs more work to be spot on!

would be nice to see snow in the mountains at least 🤨🤔👍🧐

Ok so I'll do the pros first. 1. Awesome video Jeff. 2. Made miss home yes I live in the South but I was born in Colorado. 3. It made me miss Colorado a lot. Now the cons 1. They missed the biggest most known Air force base in Colorado and that is the Air Force Academy. 2. When you looked at the stadium I could not tell what stadium it was I think it was Mile High but the view I can't be sure 3. The roads are way to tight they need to expand them by a half a lane since the map is compressed. Over all good job by SCS

I am from Colorado. From what I can see they did an amazing job recreating things. The steel mill is fairly accurate in Pueblo.

Funny seeing all of the comments about how real it looks. I have here 40+ years in foco. Tell me when you can drive anywhere in DTC or I-25 with not having bumper to bumper traffic? They did get the Loveland bridge some what accurate, where where are all of the shops? Also why make a delivery in FTC and drive thru Loveland. CSU is also not on the right side of the road (College Ave). Downtown FTC does not look like that. Also, people for the love of GAWD, stop moving to Fort Collins area. :) Stay in California/Texas/New York/Chicago.

Maybe some weather they’ll add in later, snow? Also, I think with your new PC, depending on specs, you’ll find this sim to run way smoother. My 3700x and 2070 super handle it great.

Wish they did a little bit better on the drive between colorado springs and denver. Nice to see they had the RTD in there. Overall not too bad.

Well shoot, the AI being bad at merging by default would be realistic...People can't merge onto the highway to save their lives lol Just found your channel today and it is pretty sweet, that set up is something else. I'd definitely play this with a set up like that! I wonder if they'll ever come out with a second one with graphics like snowrunner, and maybe have the runs take a bit longer. I know there are games with gigantic maps so they could definitely pull this off! Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down, ✌

Hopefully SCS watches this and will listen to you regarding the sounds because they sure don’t listen to the complaints on the forum.

There should be a game based on all of Colorado, but not compressed, so it has all exits, streets, and highways.

Do you think when it comes to some of the smaller states towards the east, theyll do multiple states at once. I know its far away from that, but i imagine a fully complete American Truck Simulator

Loveland/fort Collins looks accurate for being compressed

I'm from the Denver area, and they've done a fantastic job with I-25 in and around Denver, including the light rail trains!!! Its so cool to see that kind of stuff in a simulator !!

This was great seeing the preview of Colorado, but the crunch between the Springs and Denver was kinda jarring. The distance between pueblo and The Springs felt longer in game and that's half the distance in real life. Kinda sad they completely forgot Parker. Castle Rock was literally a bolder sitting next to the road. The southern end of the metro area kinda seemed non existent. It was just like BAM here's 285. No Tech Center, no C470, no southern industrial district no Aroura no University of Denver. Just downtown Denver Mile High Stadium and the aquarium. Being from the southern suburbs of Denver I'm kinda disappointed I didn't get to see any of my home

Im not from Colorado, im originally from Oklahoma but im stationed at Fort Carson just outside Colorado Springs and ive made that I25 S drive toward NM, TX and into OK and its somewhat accurate however the Colorado-New Mexico border area looks NOTHING like that lmao

My only question, why did they make the Ferrari wheel so small? When I purchased my thrustmaster wheel, and pulled it out the box; I immediately laughed 😂. I am digging the map though Jeff.
