Vessi Footwear sent us a couple pairs of their 100% waterproof sneakers to review, claiming that they're great for both urban wear AND hiking. It doesn't rain here much so we decided to take them up into the gorgeous Colorado mountains to find a waterfall! We hiked up and down a steep rocky trail to see how well they handled off road and then took them straight into a frigid mountain stream. We were both shocked by how they performed in both dry and wet conditions...

Thanks for your honest opinion. Definitely need something breathable otherwise your feet will be wet anyways. Breathable dries out much faster as well

They are! We want to wear them out and about a lot more to get a better sense of how well they'll hold up, but for now we're pretty impressed by the quality of them.

They should make tall shoes so you can walk through deep puddles.

Haha, I think those are called rain boots. And if you want to go real deep you can get waders at your local hunting supplier. 👍😉👍 These are great for everyday wear though, especially in rainy or snowy weather where regular shoes can get wet and miserable.

All vegan shoes. Interesting. Raisin feet and smelly haha. The kids are growing so tall

Vegan just in the sense that they don't use animal products in the fabrics and glue. My first thought when I read that was "they're edible...???", haha! To be honest though, they weren't smelly when we took them off. That insert supposedly has some antimicrobial effect that helps with odor. We were impressed.
