► The #Colorfly CDA #M1P USB DAC utilizes the Asahi Kasei AK4493SEQ chip. The unit supports music playback up to 32-bit 768kHz and native DSD512. In terms of power supply, the device is quite voracious: at 5 volts there is 0.14 amperes.
I've been familiar with Colorfly brand products for a long time and it has always been just a super respected company among audiophiles. They literally revolutionized the world with their C4 player. Today their fame has faded, but their experience has remained, and on the wave of fresh current, we were presented with two new mobile DACs: CDA-M1P and CDA-M2. Today I propose to review only the first version, especially since it is built not on the banal Cirrus Logic, which are already legion, but on the good old Asahi Kasei. It has DSD512 support, gain switching and two outputs with some very tricky JitterKill technology, which, by the way, was transferred to us from the company's flagship devices.
