As little side fact, 105 from the 137 Eldrazis are colored. You need colored mana to use them and you can't use colored Eldrazis with a colorless commander. From the 137 Eldrazis not a single one support 5 colors (6 colors with colorless waste lands) to use the full spectrum of Eldrazis. Wizards of the Coast logic.
Ah okay so to be able to use all the Eldrazi’s I would need a 5 color commander that’s not even an Eldrazi(Besides I guess morophon but still doesn’t count) and I would need all 5 colors and colorless sources. Wizards of the coast -“Be Legendary”
@@inittowinitmtg Morophon looks good because of his Eldrazi similar art style but with him you can only reduce the shown colored amount in the mana costs which the big Eldrazi titans dont have for example. So he gives you only a similar look, the access to all colors except the colorles mana aswell reducing mana costs of 1 to 2 mana from the lower Eldrazi. You also can not play Eldrazis with colorless mana symbols. Creature cards with 5 different mana symbols plus the colorless mana symbol dont exist. The best multicolor choice to play the most Eldrazi (except these one with colorless mana) is 'Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge' but she looks complete different as a Eldrazi (its a little human girl) and it looks also bad if you take her out and play after that the creepiest Cthulhu monsters which the humanity had ever seen. Truth Eldrazi tribals have a big problem because Wizards of the Coast made a huge logic issue and doesnt fix it until today. Or they intension was to build two Eldrazi tribal decks (colored and colorless) to pay more money for it.
@@GeneticResearch from what I understand is you don't need to have a diamond in the commander to use diamond in the 99. Look up 5 color eldrazi decks and you will see diamonds in Jodah and Morophon decks. The identity of cards with diamonds are 'colorless' so they can go in any deck.
@@denvelsykes249 Based on your answer, I looked again several colored Commander decks with colorless symbols under the cards and read several color rules regarding colored Commanders with colorless cards. You seem to be right because everywhere your statement is confirmed. But I was sure I saw everywhere the opposite because I also checked several sources before I made my statement. I even searched two days for a solution and found it in the Partner Commander mechanic with two Commanders (Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools / Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix) which provides the colors green, blue, black and colorless as well as help to produce mana and draw cards, create a synergy together and where a Cthulhu like Commander is also inside. With these two Partner Commanders I thought I had found a super joker that provides everything that is important and what no one else has found yet. At least no one among the recommended Commander decks. But now its no more needed and i had waste my time. Fortunately, I haven't bought these two Commanders yet. Then i better stick with 'Morophon, the Boundless', even if it only saves me 1-2 mana at the half of creature cards in my upgraded Eldrazi Unbound Commander deck.
Yea I preordered it before the commander even got revealed. I’ve always been looking for the right commander for colorless Eldrazi and I think we finally have that. I already have all the upgrades just waiting on the precon itself to come in before a gameplay video.
@@inittowinitmtg a guy gave me all the legendary eldrazi cards when I first started 15 years ago. Back when they all had annihilator. Been hooked on them ever since.
YES! My boy! We were on the same exact wave length when this precon was announced lol. Two days before the Eldrazi precon was completely spoiled I picked up all the “expensive” eldrazi titans and I am so glad I did. Emrekul went from around $25 to over $60 with a quickness lol. This deck tech is exactly what I had in mind when I saw this precon get announced. Let’s lose some friends shale we! 🤣 Edit: You’ve earned a sub good sir! Also, if by some reason you happen to be in the Phoenix area let’s lose friends together lmao! 🤣
I unfortunately missed out on a $25 Emrakul and my wallet is struggling for it now 🥲😂. Thank you so much for the kind words and subscription, you have made my day kind sir. Have a good one and if I’m ever in Phoenix we can terrorize local game stores together😀
if ya wanna do some crazy shit, run maskwood nexus along side realmbreaker you're gonna easily be able to pay the 10 to sacrifice it and search your deck for all your praetors , but with maskwood nexus all your creatures are praetors . so will flood the board with massive threats and either win or die to a board wipe.
That would be absolutely ridiculous but there’s a very low chance of it happening. I wouldn’t run it because maskwood by itself does nothing for the deck, I’d need real breaker out for it to really do anything.
@@inittowinitmtg yeah is more then fair, and on it's own I think the most it'd do would create chump blockers, which might be alright, but a bit a fun jank doesn't hurt in casual edh. so gonna give it ago, and using something like cryptic passage as another way to make use of it, but will probably at some point swap them out for something better. still realmbreaker on its own is good ramp so might keep
For casual EDH maskwood is great but my pod leans toward the high power casual so you really need for it synergize with a good portion of your deck. Also, I don’t know why realm breaker isn’t being talked about enough. It’s an absolutely fantastic card that hate ramps. Mills your opponents and gets you a land. Insane value especially for a deck with a high mana curve.
@@inittowinitmtg I’m not going to buy the precon because I pretty much have all the hood colorless cards, but I’m def adding zhulodok, Darksteel monolith, rose of the Eldrazi, and those other new cards to the deck because they are just sooooooo awesome
I had to buy the precon because I’ve always wanted a colorless Eldrazi deck and I really like the commander because it also lets me run one of my favorite cards in all of Magic, Blightsteel Colossus
