Paul said: A CHRISTIAN SHOULD NOT BE AN OSTRICH.
OK, this is a wild paraphrase, but, in Colossians 3,
Paul writes in rapid succession to “Set your minds on things that are above,
not on things that are on earth” (v.2) and “seek the things that are above” (v.1).
So clearly we should definetly not have our heads buried in earthly things...
But what does he mean practically?
Do you remember the ending of our last video on Colossians 1-2?
We asked “how can we live heavenly, while still physically here on earth?”.

Though these vids are 2 years on...I desire to GRASP & gain GREATER INSIGHT & UNDERSTAND as to what Collossians meant to the saints then, particularly in regards to the 'mindset'' of that time. Great video but does anyone know what they mean at 2:06 when talking about when we die spiritually we on earth need to "kill our members? I know its referring to our arms and legs but I still dont understand what that means in a practical sense.

I think it means that we do not do everything that our feelings want. Dont lust with your eyes. Don't sin with your hands, don't go to places that God does not approve with your legs.
