I don't trust Disney to tie their own shoes let alone expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They already screwed up Star Wars, Indiana Jones, SheHulk, Willow, and every damn other thing they've touched.
@aaronfinley5255 Gambit and Nightcrawler are the only male X-Men other than Logan, that have enough personality and origin history to make an interesting solo movie.
Totally agree Colossus does not have much depth or complexity to his character. It would feel forced and bomb in the movie. It would be like Juggernaut having his own movie. However there was a "What If.." the mutants were wiped out by the Sentinels.. Cain Marko loses it and goes on a one man pogrom against the Sentinels eventually destroying them all.
I think that depends on each character. I guess there's only 2 options: do it like the Avengers and build the characters individually and then out them together. Or like you said, introduce the Xmen and then do origin stories.
@@stevezinger2291I don't think they should do the xmen like the avengers. The avengers were all existing characters (mostly) who came together to form a team. The xmen were a team first and then they built out each character. It's got a different dynamic. Whichever way they go, I hope it turns out awesome!
@@ajhill5094 I hope so too. But I want a great origin story for Cyclops, Wolverine (in Canada's BC wilderness against the Hulk and/or Alpha Flight), Nightcrawler, Storm and Colossus. Thats a big ask though
We've seen Colossus several times already.. Marvel should look into newer possibilities with Bishop, Gambit, Forge or Anyone who could be the next "Ironman" for the new MCU.
@tjplay3496 I meant more like the first Ironman movie that started the whole MCU success phase. I don't think Pedro Pascal will have the same impact as Robert Downey Jr. Plus, he's in a group movie. Hugh Jackman was the breakout star in the Xmen films way back when. So, it's possible. Maybe the new Blade if that ever gets made. So far, all the weight is on Ryan Reynolds and how successful Deadpool 3 is.
Let's hope that's a game design. MAN! Though, they messed up the designs of The Celestials (except JG Eson), Taskmaster, Starhawk, High Evolutionary, Gorr the god Butcher, Ultron (more character than design though)
Oh yeah, and gambit should never have been written out of the avengers as well as petrol, the speed demon should’ve never been written out Wanda’s brother that’s all I’m talking about is a lot marvel can do replacing the black guy with Wesley Snipes the original blade a lot of us don’t know about that. You have an opportunity to bring Wesley snipes back as blade and that’s what we would like to see but I guess all actors need a chance you need to acknowledge the Wesley Snipes and blade bought back superheroes from marvel comic books. He was the one that bought you back on the map and that movie with the first movie with the Hulk can’t believe you guys didn’t give him more credit for the first and the option to play. The Hulk is part of the original avengers.
I HATE that they didn't make him change back and forth from metal/flesh in the Deadpool movies. And in the x-men movies they had him change back and forth too quick
As much as I love the X-Men the only other X-Men that could carry a movie other than Wolverine is Storm, anyone else would lose the studio so much money.
Colossus being probably my first favorite ever 30 years ago, I haven't seen enough, lol. I just hope they make sure to include people close to him like Nightcrawler, Rogue, Storm and his best friend Beast. With hopefully a known enemy of his like, Omega Red. 👍
Would be a good movie and have it set in Russia and the main villain omega red .. have colossus get the cytorak gem at the end to become colosonaut and defeat him
I want the X-Men to kick of properly with Disney... So they need to start with a solid base... Have them be teens in Xavier's school... Thee actual first class... Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Iceman and Beast before he became blue... Have them be simple an relatable... Show their struggles and values. Have it reflect exactly how they originally were... Make that a series... The 80s lineup is further down the road... But they cant resist having Wolverine immediately. Cash grabbing and rapid burn out.
Kitty and rogue should never been written out of the X-Men. Scott should’ve never been written out of the X-Men and something should have been able to be done to keep JEAN as a part of the X-Men Fox should’ve been made a member of the X-Men. They have been so many characters that could have been great access to the avengers and the X-Men, but somehow someway some reason they figure out a way to exclude them and actually kill them off when they should’ve been found roles to still be in the X-Men or avengers
I agree with you when I was growing up a separate branch broke away from the avengers and became the West Coast avengers. That should be a movie then Luke Cage and the iron fist should be a movie just like the black widow haven’t her own movie in endgame where all the female superheroes got together to against you know who there should be a movie strictly with all of those female superheroes in it The winter soldier and the falcon should’ve been a movie instead of wasting his time on the Disney Channel and Jeremy Rimmer and the female they got the name of Hawkeye should’ve been a movie instead of wasting our time on Disney Channel. WandaVision should’ve been a movie. Loki should’ve been a movie, the marvels was a good movie again all female cast and I can’t wait to see the beginning with the end of when her friend got separated and woke up in a hospital in a different year with beast has doing his thing as the doctor and the other girl thinking that’s her momcan’t wait to see any of this and all of this
Colossus is my favourite X-man, but I’m a Cold War kid and I know that many other fans have their own favourites. I huge-ly love Sunspot, too. It’d be cool if they used a substantial amount of Brazilian Portuguese language when covering Sunspot in future movies. Add subtitles, have him visit Macau…
In the comics colossus gets beaten up a lot at one point cyclops scolds him, telling him to use his brain when fighting.i don t find him very interesting because he doesn't have a lot of depth.choose fantomex.or mystique.
If Marvel is doing a movie or special short series about Colossus it would be better if they go deep dive on his heritage connecting him with the KGB/ BlackWidow & soviet super soldier weapon X program. Alongside with him are two fellow Russian Mutant DarkStar(Laynia Petrovna) & Vanguard(Nikolai Krylenko) And their Namor like comrade will be Omega Red Ofcourse Black Widow will assist along the way.
So most ment of steel are from farms and are grounded and selfless and protectors. Like superman was is the man of steal 😂 cute I love how deadpool bought him into the fold with a huge CGI FIGHT SCENE included. ❤

If they do movie with some hero then he’s got to have a list of strong villains like Batman, Flash , Superman. Without strong villains movies with heroes suck. Like they ruined Lex Luthor in last Superman movie. It should have focused on luthor not Superman vs Batman.

Colossus in the X-men movies look wack ! With better technology u can’t make him look decent . I seen better fan made movies of colossus that don’t even have the budget these studios be having . These fan made movies be putting the high level studios to shame .
not really i didnt like him in deadpool i perefer the guy from x-men 2 when he trasfromed into him also in deadpool colossus didnt look like the real character he looked like a totoally drifferent person
