Today we are colouring the little fox in Small Victories, the new Adult colouring book by Johanna Basford. I'll be using Derwent Drawing pencils for this page, but you can use any other brand of pencils. Just pick earthy colours in a warm hue.
This colour along is perfect for beginners, and I will show you step by step instructions on how to blend coloured pencil and how to shade with coloured pencils. And as usual I will give lots of adult colouring tips and tricks.

That looks lovely! I’m a bit sad that we’re done with this page but hopefully you’ll do some others with the Derwent Drawing set.😊 BTW, what sharpener have you been using with them?

I’m a bit sad we’re done too. I’ve really loved working on this page. I use a Staedtler Mars tabletop sharpener. You can adjust the settings on it, so with these pencils I put it to the blunter setting.

Marit I’ve had these pencils for over a year and they sat untouched in their tin because I was unsure how to use them. In America they are pricey. I just wanted you to know thanks to you to know that thanks to you and your creative talent I drew inspiration and followed along with you and I’m loving using them! I use a Staedtler tabletop sharpener on the coloured pencil setting. It works great 😊
