Today I am doing a 30 in challenge in Worlds of Wonder by Johanna Basford. Watercolour pencils are fantastic for this, as they are a much faster medium compared with coloured pencils.
I am using my Faber-Castell Albrech Dürer pencils, which means that you could potentially use Polychromos instead, as they have the exact same colours, and you could just adjust and do some more layering if needed.

Hello Marit, as a folower of your you tube and instagram, I would like to know you opinion on colouring with the Albrecht Dürer first, and then go over them with the Polychromos. Does the paper bockol less or what is your opinion ? Thank you for your reply. Marleen from Belgium

That’s a great question. I’m a big fan of using a watercolour pencil like Albrecht Dürer first, then once it’s totally dry go over it again with something like Polychromos or another pencil. It will save a lot of time, as you will have covered the tooth of the pencil with colour, so you get a more vibrant result faster 🩷💚
