This is a little treat before I upload all the new archery stuff I am working on. It's a combination of all the coolest and most successful moments between 2022 and 2024. I am currently a little busy with natural disasters and duty. I've been aiding for example, the fire department so my videos are taking a bit longer than expected. Since I came back online, I have been very active on everything. So this is pretty much the last "fat Pan" video. Cherish it while you have it XD.
As a reminder : I am reviving the art of the Southern Plains Native American short bow. But also, I am advancing it into a modern combat system. I am using 30 - 35 lbs draw weight bows made from bamboo, wood or synthetic materials. The arrows are bamboo and synthetic, exactly as I have fully analyzed them in my long crafting tutorial documentary.
My way of shooting is well known in the archery community as "combat archery". It combines quick movements on the field and speed shooting. It's the most active style of archery. These are NOT trick shots. Each technique is intended for actual combat and has been used in the past. Especially by tribal warriors. The Comanches are the grand example. These shots are intended to be done at a relatively short distance before switching to melee weapons. Perfect for ambushes and guerrilla warfare. The strategy behind such a "weak" bow has been explained in previous videos.
