Each episode was like a short Movie, unlike so many of today's shows on TV that go for the cheap laugh, cheap emotional drama, etc. Combat was ahead of its time and anyone who's been in the stress of combat can sympathize with the characters. I do like Combat and haven been watching it so long now. What has been on my mind is that they never run out of ammo. Sanders does not carry extra magazines for his Tommy gun and keeps shooting.
This episode has a future tv star in it as well as a movie star as well none other then bill Bixby the guy that stared in the incredible hulk tv series as well as staring in several of elvis s movies too
