This is one of the worst relationships a person can experience. I've been through this myself. Now I know a woman who is in deep with a "professional" who has a NPD. Read videos and books by Les Carter a Psychologist who specializes in this disorder. Pray without ceasing for your daughter......this could turn out to be a very dangerous situation.

That is possible. I believe she is on a journey. She continues to blame Satan for this pandemic, which is the opposite of what the Bible teaches. A lot of teachers have been doing that. There is a spirit of worldliness throughout the church manifesting in political idolitry (Trump worship and liberal bashing), false hope in the wrong season, and a confidence that the traditions of now accurately reflect the heart of God. That worldliness is being exposed right now. I believe in this shaking some will get shaken off the tree entirely, but others will be shaken awake. We should hope and pray for many to be shaken awake.

Yes... amen ! the little children now are being conditioned to have an exaggerated sense of self and their achievements... even to the point of giving them rediculously OVERSIZED round medals on giant ribbons... I'm talking a medal the diameter of a teacup saucer !! and the ribbon at least 2 1/2 inches wide . I saw this " thing" hanging off of a door nob in a home I was cleaning ... I felt a sense of sadness about it. The chieftest will be the leastest is true. Even an Admiral or General once mopped the mess hall floor and helped at that level.. these really young people being called "gifted" and given positions without the field experience is like trying to jump a flight of stairs.. yes we need to save the little ones from narcisissim ! I have tons of respect for you. I keep being reminded of Romans 14:7 where Paul says no one dies to himself.. death to self is a language that is used so much but can you help interpret this "death to self"? Do you simply mean take yourself out of the equation? I was raised by a narcissist that told me my purpose in life was to serve him, my dad. It messed me up for a lot of years. Im walking in amazing freedom since March 2020 when I began to live in open heaven. I notice God changing the way we interpret language and how powerful it is. But, this scripture in Romans 14 really keeps jumping out at me when I hear the language of death to yourself or myself...

My MIL has deeply fractured our family relationships with her due to her malevolent narcissistic/sociopathic tactics & personality disorder. I have tried to find ANYONE who would understand, and not just tell us to "forgive her". I do forgive her, but I don't trust her at all. She & my FIL are in "ministry", but behind closed doors they speak like devils (to each other, us and our children, and even their other children & grandchildren). My MIL always has to be "the victim", and she always makes others "the bad guy". To me, this woman is like a pedophile, except of the mind and emotions. She has tried to destroy me, my marriage, my relationships with my children, my relationships with extended family & even my relationships with acquaintances. I have battled PTSD due to over 20 years of her evil ways. She would come against me the worst when I was pregnant or right after I had given birth to another of her grandchildren. My husband is still healing from the lifelong trauma she inflicted on him. Our children have been deeply harmed emotionally, and we are still trying to help them heal from the abuse. We have had limited contact with her for 2 years, except when she would violate our boundaries again or use "flying monkey's" (a psych term for sending a messenger to attack you like the flying monkeys in The Wizard of Oz) against us again . I have read that the best move forward, is NO CONTACT whatsoever. I do not want to go backwards to living a life where I live in constant trauma & pain, where she lies & tries to manipulate my closest loved ones into turning against me again. Where she pits our sweet children against one another, or tries to talk my husband into divorcing me (we have been together for 23 years) anymore. My MIL also did the same pattern to her other DIL, which ended in divorce and lots of pain for the whole family. Is there any way other than staying away from her? We have tried reconciliation. We have tried setting healthy boundaries. We have gone through counseling. We have prayed and prayed and prayed. We have surrendered daily, sometimes hourly to The Lord. Would you please address this also from the vantage point of the family members deeply harmed by these individuals? We have tried the suggestions you have mentioned, but have had no breakthrough, just more hurt. Thank you so much for opening the door on this subject.
I went so innocent and so close to God and horribly maligned so as to distrust all I believed and held dear. It was insane, I have never endured such brutality in all the world which I experienced a lot of.
I was married to a man who had the same type of family. It was a miserable 15 years of abuse escalating each year. My ex husband listened to his jezebel and ahab parents who ruined him and our marriage. The Lord showed me I married into a curse. This family claims to be godly but clearly operates in rebellion and disobedience. I should not have married this man. I tried everything like you did to fix the situation. If your husband has not put boundaries up and/or gone no contact, you are fighting a losing battle. These types of people need deliverance if they are willing. Most are not willing to be free and choose God. I’m sorry! You are a precious child of God that does not deserve this treatment. I pray God leads you to truth and freedom. God bless!
Jesus Lover, I’m so sorry your were deeply hurt in your previous marriage & family relationships. Dealing with narcissism/sociopathic tendencies is a lonely, painful road mist ministries won’t even touch. I’m so thankful Patricia opened the door to the topic. We are in “no contact” concerning my in-laws. My husband is totally together with me in protecting our marriage & children, but that is due to God opening his eyes. Nothing I could have ever said would have made a difference until God removed the veil of deceit. I really would love a healthy, honoring relationship with my in-laws, but God will have to help. I have a family member 6 yrs older, that has been jealous of me my entire life literally has told me she hates & can't stand me wished i had never been born, she tried drowning me when I was 5. Ransacked my home took alot of my stuff Bibles, Christian books,CDs my library a Legacy I was building for my children have replaced it 4 x went through my entire house literally my entire families stuff etc. I started seeing my books stuff in her house she tore out the pages in my Bibles with my name on them! . Her family wearing my clothse. This has gone on for years her stealing but never to this extent. Things got bad when I exposed her to herself she flipped it around and Caused division with her family. Made herself the victim. Goes to Church has cost me friends etc...I felt so hurt and violated in my home cleansed it. I have wierd things that happen at night in my yard that is not right! I need prayer and advise she moved 4 houses down from me. I need help on how to deal with this! I am so hurt no-one believes me. Help!
