Come and join me as I explore the biggest ever display of Edward Burtynsky's photography at The Saatchi Gallery in London. Entitled Extraction/Abstraction, the show contains over 90 large format photographs as well as a film piece. This exhibition is on until 6th May 2024 and tickets can be booked here:

I also head to the Flowers Gallery to explore a smaller exhibition of new works by Edward Burtynsky.

Magnificent photographs. I found it jarring that the most beautiful aerial works were actually showing things we should be worried about.

To be honest I just absolutely love being in the Saatchi Gallery, spent so many hours in there over the last decade. So whatever the exhibition I’m there 😅

It is a beautiful space and has put on some great shows. This one particularly suited the large scale gallery spaces. Really glad you enjoy it as a venue. I don't get there enough.

beautiful and terrifying plunder. dare i say it...makes me feel i want to go back into the matrix, or the ai equivalent thereof, to ablute myself of guilt and despair. as always thank you.

It made me feel a bit like that. This industrial scale destruction is hidden from us, yet I am aware as I type that I could only do so because of it.
