In the time of sailing if there was no wind anchors could also be used to move the ship. The anchor would be placed into a row boat which would go out some distance from the ship and then drop the anchor into the sea. This would pull the vessel forward some. They would repeat the process. Very labor intensive but when a ship was “becalmed” for several days it might be your only “hope”. JT
Hello again. Could you please lead me to Joseph Smith videos that talk about the seer stones and how he translated the Book of Mormon?? I need an answer to a question "Why did Joseph Smith look in to a hat to with the seer stones inside to translate the book?" I've never heard of this before and apparently the church has brought out documents about it a few years ago. Please help!! Thank you xx

Thank you, I was on RU-vid with my IPad and the three dots don’t show up there. I went to my laptop and was able to find them and the transcript there. I appreciate you telling me how to find the transcript, otherwise I would have never gone to my laptop to check.
