Girl I've been searching for a house here in Canada and I put it on pause because the houses price increase so drastic it's unbelievable, so it's not only in the U.S. I guess it's due to Covid and interest rate being very low. Love this series and congrats

The prices are super inflated right now. I went under contract in Sept and the base price increased $80K (in ATL metro)

There are beautiful homes south of Atlanta so dont count them out. There are several communities that would surprise you and meet your needs reasonably priced!

I'm in the process of buying now!! Went the new build route...I think it's overrated but my gf wanted it. New builds limit your location more, so it's good that you're open! The market is nuts right now. I work for a mortgage company. Rates are low which makes people want to buy, and sellers are jacking prices up because of the high demand.

Girl be glad you ain't looking in Cali( In the bay area) everyone is paying $500k or more over asking, I think I would like I keep telling my hubbie let's move back south looks like Conyers is very nice and Fayetteville I love the country and Georgia prices are a bargain compared to California. Good luck can't wait to see your final choice
